Idk why people are hating on this so much, its legit perfect, the alternate design is canon, (only alt. Gabriel was shown with a mouth i believe, and the eyes were also from alt. G) this one looks like the alternate from the first few things, with the face half covered, showing that they most likely arent completly black, and encounter was just an og remix yes, but still slaps.
Imo, the original was buttcheeks, it really lacked a lot of content and showed how unfinished it was. This one does a much better job, adds more events and sprite changes which make the experience much rich

I don't think Mark could see Cesar when they were having that Phone call. The reason we see the images is Bec it's like a police document, and showing the Suspects last known photos, plus the audio of said call. I don't think they could actually see eachother.
this isnt a video call. this is a record of the phone call by the police using the victims photos. watching back on mandela vol1 + the restored, cesar is smiling in his picture, in the time it takes place there arent video calls, and it makes sense cause hes an alternate and when the bps come it would make sense for him to get serious
Man, this reminds me of how much I miss the original Z-Mix with the fact it never got past the demo. I really hope they’re still working on the full version but I don’t think that’s going on at this point.
One thing I think is really cool is the noticeable difference between Cesar’s on-beat animations in his 2 sprites. (Best seen at 1:00) Smiling Cesar’s bops are right on time, while normal Cesar’s bops are very weak and has less “oomph” to them than the others.
Overall loved the new version but a bit sad you didn't get to see the broadcast or have the voice for when the door is broken and i do miss the part with Gabriel, the alternate, and Mark, and I'm sad Theatcher's part is gone but this was a huge step up in quality. Keep up the good work
