Wouldn't it be cool if they had done something like go to Puerto Rico - they could promote how pretty and fun it could be for tourism, but also volunteer on the group date to raise awareness on how affected by Hurricane Maria it still is. A way to give back, but still a great, fun location.
lmaoxLEAH I LOVE this idea, but I believe most of the places the franchise visits are contacted by the city tourism department, so PR would’ve had to accommodate/reach out to them.

Worst dates ever!!! I heard on the Bachelor Party podcast that Jason’s date was suppose to be white water rafting but they had to cancel b/c it was too cold, so they scrambled & came up w/.... “unhappy hour”, but I have to give Jason credit for being the best sport ever (he’s a front runner alongside Blake for me). Also have a theory that Leo was meant to be a send-home, but he was so nice, accommodating, & complimentary to her & also confessed to not feeling like enough, that it would’ve made Becca look bad to send him home after that! There was so many instances this episode where I just wanted Becca to deadpan to the cameras & say “what the f#%^*?!?”
My favorite date so far is actually when she brought Jason's friends to surprise him! That was such a thoughtful, special moment especially since we know they aren't allowed to communicate in the house!
I wonder if the dates these past few seasons became so lame because so many people go on Bachelor /bachelorette just for the fame & travel? I'm bored with the date's like everyone else but in a way I feel it's a good idea for the Bachelorette to take only the men she feels a connection with to an exotic location. Fame seekers don't deserve to travel the world if that's all they signed up for when it's supposed to be for dating.
Coming from someone who has lived in Virginia all her life here are some of my thoughts: 1. I also thought “why Virginia?” We have a lot of history here, which I love, but it’s not reality TV exciting. 2. When she said “I don’t understand the weather in Virginia” neither do we. Ever. We call it “bipolar” for a reason lol. We didn’t have much of a spring though, just a long winter. That’s why it snowed at one point. 3. I honestly have no idea why we’re a commonwealth, so thanks for that little bit of info lol. 4. Virginia isn’t really that glamorous honestly. I’m from Virginia Beach (which is ironically where Lauren from he-who-shall-not-be-named’s season was from) and there’s more “glamorous” things to do here. We have beautiful luxury hotels, a beach, boardwalk, skydiving, stuff like that, so I’m still confused why Virginia. As a Virginian. Anywho, thanks for reading this if you did.

Jason keeps growing on me! I actually loved their date only because of their connection and how cute they looked together but the first half of their date at that gothic meeting was so cheesy. Thankfully they meet his friends, loved seeing his reaction when he was surprised. Made me cry lol.

After the disaster from last season, the show really needed to step it up to keep the ratings, but this season just feels flat. I’m a huge fan of Jason! So handsome and love his personality! Hope you’re feeling better

I'll always know Chris as the Eddy look-alike from "Friend's" I saw the meme and just can't unsee it. I haven't watched since the first episode because every time I run past it I'm so bored! So to catch up I always tune in to Roses and Rose' and I'm never disappointed! 🌹🍷
I think Becca is extremely attracted to Colton and wants to give him reassurance. I think she enjoys the chase. This week I felt that Colton was less strategic with his wording but I still don’t like him very much. I absolutely love Garrett, he seems like a such a simple/humble guy that’s really there for Becca and I think he will be the one at the end. I see Blake getting heartbroken. I see him falling harder and I can’t help but feel for him because I feel that he too is genuinely in it for her. I think Jason is sweet and just plain sexy I think he will make it to hometowns. I think Becca sees Leo as a really great friend because she just wanted to vent to him and didn’t really focus on a relationship because her heart is already being pulled in other directions. I think Leo could definitely sense that she wasn’t feeling him in that way and I wish they both would’ve just said “Hey let’s be friends and have fun tonight!”
Except while Becca was telling him (Garrett) stories about herself, he looked bored and disinterested. Like some men do when women talk about themselves.

Love this recap' ! Lauren, you are in fire and I love it! I was not into this season for the first couple of episodes but now I enjoy it. I think it's because it's so bad it becomes good. Sometimes I feel like the producers are trolling Becca with her awful dates. Becca must have really low expectations (or be a great actress) because it looks like she's enjoying herself.
I think Jason and Blake should be the final 2. Wills should be the next bachelor. I feel like Wills is kind of the “Seinne” of the season. They’re both well-rounded individuals, who have a lot going for them (and are basically too good for the franchise tbh). If you follow him on IG you really see more of his personality and his follower count is increasing pretty quickly. #WillsForBachelor

Funny recap haha! I think she is going to pick Blake, and I hope she does. Blake and Becca's chemistry is off the charts and whenever they share time together on screen, you can feel the passion and love between them. It feels genuine. He has never been involved in the drama in the house, which I love and I would probably do the same. This is a good sign in my opinion. Colton and Garrett are the other frontrunners for sure, but Colton turned me off a little bit when he went off on Jordan for being himself. Sure I wasn't super into it either, but to be mean to him was not the way to go. Anyways, I love Becca and Blake the most
Thanks, Lauren, for truly being the best and most entertaining part of "The Bachelorette"! Leo is very attractive and seems fun. However, I don't really get the vibe he is that into Becca. I doubt he'll be crushed when he's eliminated (which I predict will happen next week along with Wills). I live in South Africa so I have never been to Virginia but I also wondered 'why?' when she announced that they were going to Virginia. I thought 'maybe Virginia is just the best place for lovers' but after watching the episode I still found myself wondering 'why?'

Funny recap haha! I think she is going to pick Blake, and I hope she does. Blake and Becca's chemistry is off the charts and whenever they share time together on screen, you can feel the passion and love between them. It feels genuine. He has never been involved in the drama in the house, which I love and I would probably do the same. This is a good sign in my opinion. Colton and Garrett are the other frontrunners for sure, but Colton turned me off a little bit when he went off on Jordan for being himself. Sure I wasn't super into it either, but to be mean to him was not the way to go. Anyways, I love Becca and Blake the most

Thanks, Lauren, for truly being the best and most entertaining part of "The Bachelorette"! Leo is very attractive and seems fun. However, I don't really get the vibe he is that into Becca. I doubt he'll be crushed when he's eliminated (which I predict will happen next week along with Wills). And I'd be shocked if he didn't show up on BIP -- it'll be interesting how he behaves if/when he meets someone he's REALLY into.
honestly, at this point more excited for episodes of R&R than the actual Bachelorette
