James Thomas Thank you so much! Your words embody the ultimate goal as their teacher! It means the world that you heard that through this video and voiced it.
I keep coming back to this recording because it is so beautifully done. This group of young people have such an impressive grasp of musical nuance, excellent phrasing and an impeccable sense of pitch. The male section of this choir is unreal. What an outstanding group of young musicians. You have taught them so well. Congratulations to you sir. Thank you for sharing such a moving musical experience.
This is stunning singing. I expect this from Voces8, but for a high school group to sing this difficult piece so sublimely is a huge accomplishment. Kudos to the singers and the conductor.
@@LoganHighSchoolChoirs Congratulations for your stunning performance!!! I'm a choir conductor myself, and I find your conducting enchanting!!! Thank you for posting.
I have come back to listen to this SO many times. Always gives me chills. I had an opportunity to perform this piece but never got to. But if I did I would’ve hoped it sounded like this performance :)
They are really quite good! One thing always obvious between so-called “adult” choirs and high school choirs: young people just can’t keep their bodies still hahaha! Perfectly acceptable, at this point - something they’ll be required to tame if they go into professional choirs - one choir - one conductor!
Wait. These are high school singers? SING, YOUNG PEOPLE.... with understanding, beauty and conviction. This is absolutely sublime!

William B Roberts thank you so much for taking the time to comment! Your words mean so much to us!
1:12 = pure heavenly bliss. The fact that the director’s hands didn’t LAND on that moment but rather RELEASED it was absolutely perfect!
Stunning job! Beautiful intonation and tone!
Bryan Niedermayer thank you!
My God!! That was beautifully done!! And the conductor has the most weird and enchanting gestures.
Thanks so much!
@@LoganHighSchoolChoirs Mr. McClain are you the conductor there?
