Rukia was one of my favorite charters. Her back and forth with Ichigo was great. The fact that she was tuely acknokwledgaged by Byakuya was great. Watching her growth was a treat. This is one of the fights I have been waiting for so much. She went through a lot, and came through the other side. One of my favorite parts of the story. When she said Banki, it gave me chills. I would for her to be able to control it more and show us that she can.
I will say this i dont knock rukia for losing to riruka when I know for a fact she was holding back and could have killed her at anytime. Good video but i think rukia still was of major importance throughout the story
Yeeeeeeeah that was a bad point. Neither of them wanted to kill the other. Riruka was clearly written as the character with the most humanity of all the full ringers. Her interactions with orihime and Ichigo proves she wouldn't have hurt his friends for ginjos plan.
I like Rukia too. She's my favorite in Bleach. But i won't kid myself. She is weak, incredibly weak. And later became directionless. While i like what Kubo did by having Rukia face As Nodt (the whole Byakuya needn't protect her anymore, she is his equal arc), I wish Rukia had a similar power scaling arc like Ichigo. She would have been perfectly placed to contrast Ichigo's growth. In fact, i had hoped Kubo would set up both Uryu and Rukia on the same trajectory as Ichigo, but with parallel arcs. Oh well, Kubo had his limitations, both in health and Shonen...
I like the theme of overcoming the odds within be it her grief over the Kaien incident and her looking forward to death due to feelings of guilt, or facing her worst fears on the battlefield yet still emerging victorious. And her helping Ichigo overcome his own emotional funk in her own unique way adds to her development as well. In the end she proved herself to be a brave and capable Shinigami but also a friend and worthy ally who well deserves her marriage to Renji and subsequent promotion/family. Bonus points that Byakuya organized their wedding in WDKALY. It's come full circle.
imo Rukia needed to be out. look at it this Way: She complitely lost her shinigami powers and was developing them from Square one. Yes she had Knowledge but Cultivating her power were still needed and series takes place in a time span of what? 2.5 years? She was training Pre series for few 100s of years.
YES KING i love Rukia but i gotta say, she takes soooooo many Ls through the manga and she still somehow is really overrated by the fans, but TYBW was really the redeem arc for her after so many Ls

Rukia vs aeroniro was one of the most disappointing fight ever. The dude claimed he has 30k hollows power and didn't use one. I know that it was all about psychology, but it's just not good enough.
Rukia and orihime are my favorite girls on bleach its good how kubo gave each one of them a good character development unique for each one of them one to the warrior rukia and another to the protector orihime that even if she might not do the same as rukia she dos her OWN thing and she shines at it
This video is complete bs rukia’s character never needed to be save. She is easily one of the most important characters in the story. Without her ichigo wouldn’t have had the power and proper guidance to be able to protect karakura town in the beginning of the story. Without her ichigo wouldn’t have gotten out of his depressed state after his first encounter with ulquiorra and his betrayal by ginjo. She didn’t beat a lot of powerful opponents who cares. The are more to a character than how strong the are. Also even if it was the weakest espada she is one of the few characters that beat one by themselves.
But Rukia HAD to be saved in the end. And the fact that Byakuya survived after the first invasion, robbed her of her time to shine. She's always been a damsel in distress that had to be saved: from execution by Ichigo, from Aizen by Renji and Byakuya, from Zommari by her big bro, carried from the battlefield after essentially losing fight to Riruka, as well as being unable to concentrate on her battle with Meninas and paying for it. And right in the moment when she has a difficult opponent to overcome - whoopsies, big bro is here once again with his life advices. It only shows that she still lives in the shadow of those protecting her. She managed to speedrun the Academy, rise among the ranks of squad 13, got artificially buffed by Zero Squad and finally - unlock her bankai with the help of her big bro. When's the moment she finally does things on her own?

He hadn't even reached TRUE SHIKAI BYAKUYA because Byakuya reached the true nature of his zampakutou only during TYBW.
If you think Renji's dream was to surpass Byakuya just for the hell of it, you got his character complitely wrong. It was all to get Rukia back, as he believed Byakuya "took" her from him. And in the end he won her back not by beating her brother, but by just being there for her. Why would he still want to surpass Byakuya for? In the end he achieved everything he dreamed of, which was always to be with Rukia

The character development of renji and hos dream arent that shallow like you think and his dream isnt just to defeat byakuya and thats it. No his dream is to be with byakuya long enough to surpass him because he thinks he still has stuff to learn, dont be ignorant cause both rukia and renji are amazing characters

Also i always hate how toxic rukia stans and shippers say rukia was sidelined in the series or in the final arc when this videl proves she never was, they just wanted to her to be by ichigos side 24/7 but they ignore just because they arent together doesnt mean ruki was sidelined cause we always saw her being relevant and present in the arc just by staying with her own people the shinigamis
