I just got back to Bangkok last Sunday after staying in Koh Mak for a month. It was amazing there - the people, the food, the views, and the dogs! Can't wait to go back and stay long again. Koh Mak may be small and not developed, but there's a co-working office there which makes it easy for digital nomads to work while having fun. 😍 Great video btw! Followed you. Can't wait to see more of your videos. 😇
Thanks for sharing a beautiful video of Ko Mark. I'm a Thai guy who married an Idahoan lady. We still live in Idaho. Can't wait to go check out Ko Mark and the Thai Idaho bungalow :) Have fun on your trips and keep making more videos!
Our pleasure! That's awesome, you guys might have a similar story! I believe the couple who ran the hotel are back in Idaho now, running Thaidaho food truck. Thanks for the encouragement and we hope you can visit Koh Mak soon :)
Nice video. Koh Mak is our favorite island in Thailand. So lucky you stayed with Allen and Kat at Thaidaho since they closed down business in 2020. We hope to come back to the island this year ☺
Wow I have been to many islands in Southern Thailand but never knew Koh Mak to be so beautiful. You guys are so lucky to like have it all to yourself. Paradise.......
Whaaat? You got the whole island to yourselves? 😎😎... It looks so relaxing and cozy, and nobody around! I can't wait to see more in the next video ☺️☺️
Never been to Koh Mak yet. It looks amazing and definitely on my bucket list now. BTW Koh Kood is another paradise island you two should visit too, the water is crystal clear. : )
So pleased Mam and her family are still there, she makes the best food and drinks and so inexpensive. Do they still have the little supermarket attached to the restaurant? We loved our frequent visits to Koh Mak, Koh Kood and Koh Chang, let’s hope we can get back there soon. Great video!
Yes we loved her place! We are not sure about the supermarket sorry but I believe so. Thanks for watching Christine! Let’s hope to you can return to the islands soon!
Next time please try to put Sriracha chile sauce or nam pla prik (chilli with fish sauce) on you Thai fried egg . It will enhance the flavor of your Thai fried egg.(normanly provided for free and come with the dish)
Koh Mak, an island to the south of Koh Chang, is definitely worth a visit if you plan on exploring this part of Thailand during your holiday. It is a mid-size island which is becoming increasingly popular with couples and families due to its deserted beaches and lack beer bars and ugly concrete block hotels.
Hi guys 😁 glad you are enjoying Koh Mak. I think it's about time every vlogger refrained from using the word 'Paradise' or 'hidden' or 'best kept secret' in video titles TBH. Thailand isn't paradise. It was a bit more paradise-like last century, but that all went away in the last couple of decades. And there are no hidden or secret places any more. Millions of people have been to everywhere in Thailand already and have the tshirt. But you know, other than that...great video 😂
Hey David! Our title for next week's video will be dedicated for you 😂 unless you can help us come up with something better. It's still very much feels like a paradise to us and it felt like a secret because there wasn't anyone else there. Thanks for watching!
@@SammyandTommy I'm pretty sure Paradise would have less rubbish. And less derelict buildings. Covid is partly to blame, but if you leave some Thai people somewhere long enough...they will make a mess 😤 Sometimes I feel like I moved to a country that just finished a civil war, it's that messy! Whenever I help with beach cleaning, it's usually with a bunch of Farangs. Go figure. Lots of empty beaches etc atm because of Covid. Prior to the internet there were still undiscovered (or at least unspoilt) islands and beaches in SE Asia, but since the rise of UA-cam and vlogging, every 'secret' spot has been vlogged and trampled over by idiot subscribers (the Maya Bay Effect aka the Game Of Thrones Effect) for a Christ Pose Insta photo. So enjoy Mak while you can before it's get overrun again post-Covid 😁
I really like this beautiful video like always sammy thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video to all of us viewers please keep it up sammy may Allah guide all of us to the straight path always ameen amen sammy can you tell me what's the name of that song it sounds amazing song please let me know
I like that 99 % of the people are from Germany and 1 % Russian rich middle class who wants to escape the war. The food on this is island is nothing like Trat food. It’s boring and made for Europeans. Some hipster Germans has opened a vegan café. Koh kood is a lot better. These 3 days sucked big time. But if you are instagramer who likes to show off in swimming attire this could be a perfect island.
We can't decide what we like more... the truck-taxi or the views from the new place! Keep it up guys! 😊
Thanks so much! 😃 Gotta love those truck taxis 😂 that view though was outstanding 😍

We can see why it’s your favorite island 😍We were sad to see them close but understand they moved back to Idaho. Where do you usually stay?
Wow I have been to many islands in Southern Thailand but never knew Koh Mak to be so beautiful. You guys are so lucky to like have it all to yourself. Paradise.......
So true! We were super lucky to have it mostly to ourselves! Thanks for watching! What's you're favorite Thai island?
@@SammyandTommy Koh Phi Phi of course :)))
The view from the bedroom does not get much better than this ! Also 8:25 Thai ridgeback pup. Very rare and ancient breed.

@@SammyandTommy wow, I didn't knew is going that far ! I'm out of everything about drones !
Love koh mak!
We did too! What was your favorite part about the island?
@@SammyandTommy I love that it is very quiet and that I love to kayaking around to small islands near by. Can't wait to go again!

Hey ... nice ... what is the name og the resort in Koh Mak ... Thanks
What month were you there? Grazie
Hi! where did you stay in Koh mak? Would you recommend any specific resort? Or area on the island?
Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭
You are right about that!
Next time please try to put Sriracha chile sauce or nam pla prik (chilli with fish sauce) on you Thai fried egg . It will enhance the flavor of your Thai fried egg.(normanly provided for free and come with the dish)
Sounds delicious 🤤 Thanks for the awesome suggestion!
I miss that sunny blue sea and Thai food
So true! Can’t beat that beautiful aqua water and delicious Thai food!
What is the name of the resort with that great view?

Beautiful island. Don’t miss koh kood……..
Thanks for the advice! We won’t 😉
Careful I spent a year Thailand and gained 20lbs.
We can see why 🤤 We have gained too much weight as well. It's hard with all the delicious food and full time travel!
👍👍👍
Any sandflyes???
We had only a few when we were there 👍
Hi! Did you ask for any permission to take drone into Thailand?
Which island you prefer, Koh Mak or Ko Khut/Kho Kood?
It all depends what you’re looking for! Koh Mak was probably my favorite and for Sammy is was Kho Kood! Can’t go wrong!
What is the hotels name please
Welcome To Thailand 🇹🇭💘💖💓💕💗💞💯🙏🙏🙏

Im here now... highly overrated. Better go to koh kood.
If you hope to see impressions of the island and you just get bla bla bla from an UA-camr 😢
Author is too damn cheesy....
