Sure had some big hits back then!!🎉
I got my 1st transistor radio for Christmas in 1969 as a 10 yr old kid and was soon blown away by a LOT of amazing music like this bangin tune!
I loved this Group and this song !!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice to see that someone just a few weeks ago are still listening. I don’t like to listen alone. But being alone has its perks sometimes.
Hi, I listen to this song all the time, I love it. You’re not alone. Absolutely one of my favorites.❤😊
I Love 70s music
Listening to this 90 minutes into Christmas 2023. This is one of my Top 2 Grassroots song I've decided after this listen. The other is Live for Today. I clearly remember this being #3, when Joy to the World was # 1 and I wouldn't know if Tempatation Eyes peaked at #3 or higher but this is all Googleable.
Loved this group in the 60s and early 70s, music was much better back then than the crap on now.😢
I have loved this song since it first came out. I grew up in the 60's and 70's. We had the best music!
I’ve completely forgotten how great this band was!
YES!!!!!! and......Great to dance to, Mr Clark!!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Who else is pushing 70 and dancing their asses OFF??????🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
what ass!
Pushin 50 , is that OK ?
I keep throwing my back out. 😉
ROB GRILL is one of my musical heroes ...
I could listen to this song and video over and over, love it.
When artist really had talent 😊
1964...I was 10 years old. Now I'm 70...impossible to believe. This music was great then and great now. I'm glad I was from that era. Nothing to compare now
Glad you enjoyed it!
Time flies when your having fun 😮
So true. We had so many great groups. Not one comes close today.
This song came out in 1971.
I love this song I am 61 years old I wish we had music like this now a days. ❤😊
OHHHHH... the cuteness of these guys_ WOW oh WOW -- zing-zing... I had forgotten-- I may be old, but I'm not blind LOL (or dead)
Loved listening to this group in the late 60s into the 70s while in jr and sr high school.😊
Love the dark hair and eyes on Dennis
This is such a great song!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I never get tired of hearing it.
@@ilviolino1. Thank you for the post.
One of my favourite groups of that era. Everyone of the members were very talented 😀. RIP Rob Grill.
Rob Grill had a really convincing voice !!!😍😍😍😍
Yes great music great memories even though some are bittersweet
THE GRASS ROOTS SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME OR THE HALL OF FAME IS WORTHLESS!
I don't know. They're not as good as some of the great rock bands who aren't in yet, but they're better than some of the more recent pop performers who are. Keep in mind, though, they were to some extent a manufactured bubble gum pop band who didn't play the instruments on most of their hits, much less write their own songs. Although they could play quite well live. Creed Bratton, the same "Creed", who's on The Office, is an awesome guitarist, but they were so controlled by their label and producers, Creed could never really show his chops on the guitar. It was one of the wrecking crew who played on the singles. That's one of the reasons Creed quit the band. I like them but in some ways I consider their music a guilty pleasure.
@@scottmcneely1927 The Grass Roots should be in the Hall of Fame because of what they did, not how they did it.
@@felixmadison5736 Let's get Jethro Tull, Boston, Bad Company, King Crimson, Procol Harum, Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, Mott the Hoople, hell even the Raspberries and Badfinger in, then worry about the Grass Roots.
@@scottmcneely1927 Yes, I agree with you, but have the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame do this first: Put in one of the more popular groups of their era, like the Grass Roots, then take care of the other's that may be on the edge of acceptance. Only two of those you mention really deserve any consideration, (besides the Grass Roots) Boston, and maybe Jethro Tull. LOL!
Among the 'Grass Roots' charting singles, they achieved Top 10 three times, Top 20 six times and Top 40 14 times. They have sold over 20 million records worldwide. Los Angeles, California, U.S. Until his death in 2011, early member Rob Grill and a newer lineup of the Grass Roots continued to play many live performances each year. The defense rests. You may carry on.
@@felixmadison5736 Donny Osmond had a ton of hits, too. But, um, no. Popularity isn't everything. It's musical impact. How many other bands did the Grass Roots influence?
So long ago, so young , so good looking and talented. Gotta love em, Thank you Grass Roots.
Yeah they had it all going for them, their talent as instrumentalists and some catchy tunes as well as good looks and they seems to have their feet on the ground and not too messed up as many bands and band members have been as we all know.
Love this song and the group.
Probably my favorite track from the Grass Roots. 'Temptation Eyes' is filled with so much sexual-tension and angst, and sounds ALOT like The Guess Who, which is another amazing band!
My mom gave me a bunch 45's & this is 1 of them :)
You have a very cool Mom. 😎
Very underrated Band
LOVE THIS SONG! GREAT MEMORIES!
This song speaks more to my heart for all my lifetime
Rio GREAT Rob Grill!
Love Dennis❤
I was fortunate to know Rob, he was the best!
A young Creed Bratton on guitar!
Creed Bratton is NOT in this video. That's Terry Furlong on lead.
Great Sound. Really good looking fella's too.
Gotta love this 1! Perfect
I only heard this song very few times, and I liked it so much.
This video is awesome
Love them! Rob was so sweet!
This record was the first 'grown up' record my Mom bought for me. I think I wore it out.😆
awesome song 1971
Superb re-edit! Thanks for the upload
Thank you for those kind words.
Man, I can’t watch this video too many times! This is just fantastic! God, I would have loved to have played with these guys 😎
But it’s coming to an end
Awesome song.
rob grill is a great singer
Great quality....one of my favourite tunes of the early 70s
Love the horns no one else shows them! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! 😀
14 years old me at the skating rink and trying to look and act cool haha all for the pretty girls great memories
Funny. I remember going to the skating rink trying to look cool and busting my ass all over the place
singers back then seemed alot slimmer( in the 70s)
They were all pretty much all slimmer than today, no contest. As for the general public, as an example, I was in grade 7 in 1969, the class picture was a bunch of 12 year olds built like slim tube sticks.
@@alantmacHaha, I was 10 in ‘69. When I was in 6th grade I had to buy boys pants (hated it) as I’m a girl & model thin. When I was 14 my height~legs grew 4” over the summer, talk about growing pains ouchie. I’m 5’8” & love being tall but nowadays it’s not such an anomaly for girls to be tall~strange
Cool sound
Glad you enjoyed it!
Y U M M Y!!! 😅
😅
@@ilviolino1The sound here is so fantastic; great Job!! 🎉🎉🎉
Bad ass
Love them!
Wow the guitar player looks just like Eddie Van Halen when he looks to his right at 1:50
2024 🎉🎉🎉🎉 listening
Is that Mark Lindsay singing? Looks so familiar...
I believe that's Dennis Provisor...
Caballeros cute🇵🇷🎀🎀
Great❤
🎺🎺🎺🎷🎷🎹
Rob Grill R I P.
In a few days I will be 68
Oh, I see the horns now, thought it was lip synched
Keep in mind early Television appearances were broadcast in Mono...So, I've taken old video of a few live and television performances re-edited and synced them as close as as I can with the original Stereo or remastered "Stereo Studio Sound". As it states (My "Stereo Studio Sound" Re-Edit) so no harm, no foul!
Who's here cause of the office?
But being lonely is no fun
Be a lady .. but don't got to be .. we're done
