I don’t know the laws there but I know in some states that there is no statue of limitations on molestation or rape. He definitely should not be a pastor. I’m so sorry that this happened to you.

We do not have good laws here. My case can no longer be prosecuted and we have a clergy loophole with regards to reporting abuse.

Thank you Debbie. I would like to hear if getting your story out is helping you as well because we love you and you deserve healing too. But only if you want to add that part. 💚

Calvary Gospel United Pentecostal Church in Madison, Wisconsin and pastor John W Grant should be ashamed- and they should be thoroughly investigated by the United Pentecostal Church (as well as by police). For David Bernard to continue to sit back and say nothing publicly about all the unreported sexual abuse cases from there is horrendous, inexcusable and not at all indicative of proper leadership. For this church to be allowed to continue to remain part of the UPCI speaks much more loudly than their 2019 position paper on abuse and sexual abuse- actions speak much louder than words!
For more detailed information on Steve Dahl's involvement with the United Pentecostal Church, especially how he was permitted to pastor a daughter work of the Neenah UPC church after abuse of at least two minor girls, start here: blogs.spiritualabuse.org/2018/03/16/upci-ministers-embrace-alleged-pedophile-part-1/
