@@TheWideWorldofStadiums Yes, I love the small school coverage. PLEASE get to D2 and D3. Grand Valley State. Pittsburg State. D3 St. John's attendance is better than many FCS schools. That would be interesting to see. Kudos on the awesome channel!
My hometown is Florence, AL (where UNA is located) and the NCAA Division 2 Championship Game was held at Braly Stadium for several years. The houses across the street also used to make decent money during the season charging for stadium side parking but I'm not sure if they still do that or not. Also, the visiting side stands used to be quite a bit smaller and didn't even really come close to the road. The last time the city negotiated a contract to host the championship game the extension was part of the agreement. On a side note, I don't care much for driving underneath it either. I always get the feeling that it could fall at any moment. lol Btw, it's also pronounced brah-lee and not bray-lee, fwiw. Love the videos! Keep up the good work!
Just some fun facts for you: Braly Stadium (the University of North Alabama’s home stadium) hosted the NCAA Division II college football national title game for several years!! UNA (until North Dakota State’s recent dominance as well) was the only NCAA college football program to win back-to back-to back national championships! The Lions were national champions in 3 successive seasons from 1993-1995. I am about to graduate from UNA and thought I would just drop in some fun facts for everybody about the oldest university (founded in 1830) in the great state of Alabama! Love your videos!! Keep up the great work!!!
The atmosphere in Aggie/Truist Stadium is incredible especially during GHOE. Come check out The Illustrious North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and we’ll show y’all what #AggiePride is all about!! 💙💛🐶
I'd love to see the Big South's basketball arenas as a video one day! My school, High Point doesn't have a football team but on the other hand has the newest Division 1 arena in the country, and for sure one of the best mid-major conference arenas.
It would be nice if you do a video on SIAC conference, especially my alumni Savannah State University (C/O 99) #OmegaPsiPhi. The SIAC has some interesting facts about each individual stadium
It'd be fun if you did some former football stadiums of colleges that dropped the sport. I grew up around Cal State-Hayward, which is one of many California universities that dropped football in the '80s and '90s. Their stadium is super interesting, it's basically sunken deep into the hillside.
Hayward, Santa Clara, San Francisco State, USF, Chico State, Humboldt State,UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, USIU, Cal Poly Pomona, Long Beach State, Fullerton State, Northridge State, Pacific all dropped football. That would make for a nice video.
All but two of the seven (?) stadiums sponsored by Truist are in North Carolina's Triad, BB&T used to be based there before it merged with SunTrust to make Truist and sponsored them as a local pride thing.
WAC/ASUN stadiums would be a cool video. Lots of shuffling going on with conference realignments, so many of the schools are joining and leaving at the moment, and some of the stadiums are undergoing major renovations. So many next year, haha.
My friend played hockey at RMU. He was one of the only black guys on the team before they made the colonials a varsity team. He helped lift that team to varsity status and was part of the arena construction planning on Neville Island.
From 1983-2013, UNA Braley Stadium hosted the ncaa Division 2 Championship. UNA is also the alma mater of the late George ‘Goober’ Lindsey of ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ & ‘Hee Haw’. Florence/Muscle Shoals is also home of the ‘Muscle Shoal Sound’ & ‘The Swampers’ as heard in Lenard Skinner’s ‘Sweet Home Alabama’, home of FAME Studios & Muscle Shoals Sound Studios. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_Shoals_(film)
I would like to see MAAC basketball arenas in honor of Monmouth since they are in the MAAC in terms of basketball but the Big South in terms of Football.
Truist names a lot of stadiums because it was formed from the merger of Suntrust and BB&T. Truist still owns the naming rights for all of the stadiums named after those two banks which is evidently a lot combined.
That's a fun idea! None of the teams have their own purpose-built facility though. Here in Utah, the Warriors play at Real Salt Lake's academy's field (yeah, I know that's a mouthful): Zion's Bank Stadium. I know many of the other teams play at USL soccer stadiums and FCS/Division II football stadiums.
I believe Kennesaw State had an expansion to 10,000 seats proposed but it ultimately failed. I wonder if they’ll make a dedicated football stadium and make Fifth-Third a high class soccer arena
There is one forgotten conference that has a good amont of teams including the only Div1 football team in Connecticut, UCONN but they are horrible 1-10 about to be 1-11 as they are playing Houston 10-1. How is that fair? Oh well. , The conference is NCAA Division I FBS independent schools
I drive by Charleston Southern a lot, and the stadium is even less impressive in person. a fair portion of the high schools around here can seat more people. pretty facade, though.
CAA stadiums please! But thank you so much for covering FCS! Your videos are awesome!
Thanks! I'll get to it soon.

@@TheWideWorldofStadiums and when you do the CAA, respectfully, don't include JMU, they're no longer apart of it
So glad you finally did the Big South. Go Kennesaw State!
C-USA needs to get Kennesaw State
They r getting kennesaw state
What are they going to do for a stadium now that they are FBS? Needs to be enlarged.
I love these videos. Even the small college stadiums are interesting
small ones are the best :)
Do a video on MEAC football stadiums.
Been saying that forever‼️

yep, 1,800 seats.. still better than Chuck South.
@@kdinva We replaced that arena with one twice as big that just opened for this season.

Been waiting for this as an RMU student. Glad you like our stadium
Great looking group of stadiums

KSU's stadium is also used by Atlanta United FC for U.S. Open Cup games.
I’m a student at UNA, been waiting for this one. I go to every game
I'm all about nice restrooms. But a potty deck? That's next level.
I was looking at the thumbnail and thought: “that’s looks like Robert Morris stadium.” and then it was. Diddnt know they were in the big south lmaoo
Our non-football sports moved to the Horizon last year, which doesn't have football, so football moved to the Big South
Dude I would pay you to make a video on SEC college baseball stadiums, there are some large college baseball stadiums
Baum stadium in Fayetteville ar is awesome. So are alot of the sec stadiums.
