Hi Michael, Thanks for the detailed description, I always appreciate it. Like you probably already know about me, I never do it according to the book, I do what works for me. Tried and tested my way, and it works! Obviously, those watching have their own opinions and would also prefer to do it according to the book. With these same knots, I have landed some beautiful species, and none of the knots have ever loosened. I have tried many knots over the years, and some I have actually adjusted to work for me. I think everyone tries to make it easier for themselves, and if it works, why not. But thanks again for your explanation. Sharing your techniques might help others improve on making their knots perfect! Thanks for still watching Crazy For Fishing SA 😉🎣🎣🤙🏻

What prevents the sinker to reach the float
Hi Johan, baie dankie vir die video. Se my dai specific trace dus seker vir tussen klippe hengel of hoe?
Hi Wayne, dankie waardeer. Nee wat ek hengel ook kuslyn/sandbanke met selfde trace. Maar ja dit is die idiale trace vir riwwe🎣🎣🤙🏻
So if its tighter t the sinker, does it mean the line will break at swivel?
#GOBOKKE!!
And still keep the fish ofcoz
But both your swivel and sinker knots are strong for the one line, how does your line then not break off?
Yip, fish will still come out even if Sinker does get caught(break off). My sinker line is a lighter line, so if the main line/leader line is 26kg, then I use a sinker line of +-16kg, making it easier to snap if stuck so that I don't lose the fish. Hope that makes sense😉🎣🎣🤙🏻

Dankie Johan. Ek sal uitkyk. Ja ek geniet nog baie jou videos en leer baie
Nice work. I did not understand the application in the lead, if you want flexibility and strength, it would not be with a better quality rope.
Why nylon rope for sinker?
When you use line through sinker, there is friction and can cause line to snap when casting😉🎣🎣🤙🏻
🎣 after some time, the nylon tied directly to a sinker will get damaged on the knot and /or next to it, as it is retrieved over rocks etc.
You will see the rough marks on the nylon line.

Could you do a video on FG knot too pls
