Just now noticed that Happy Chaos isn't wearing shoes and it upsets me deeply. I thought that he might be wearing some boots but then I noticed his toes and my day is ruined.
Playing up close and pressuring people is actually what I find fun about Happy Chaos. Which is why I'm pretty confident that even if they nerf him, I'll still be happy playing him, since what they're most likely to hit is his zoning. (Or, I hope, guard crush as a mechanic, since I really dislike that on basically everyone that has it, and Chaos just gets arguably the most out of because his attack with it is ranged and tracking.)
The good thing about coming from mk11 is none of the 'egregious' stuff makes me bat an eyelash. Of course the negative is a bunch of mk11 folks seem to have adopted the 'complain about the game you're playing 24/7' attitude. I don't like that at all.

As a happy chaos player, he needs to be nerfed. Chaos can reload 3 bullets after a guard crush shot and still be like +4, he can whiff his normals with no consequence because he can do gunshot after any normal, his zoning is extremely polarizing and should not be as powerful as it is for how little effort it takes beyond learning how to mechanically do it. I really like playing him but going against him is just awful and he really does need major changes.
@@vonflare4709 I'm kidding, Happy is fine and fun! As a Faust main, I think characters should get little nerfs if not none and focus on buffing their kits and main useful tools, with the occasional buffing of lesser moves.... But buffing what a character is good at is better than nerfing what a character is good at! Nerfing is simply a cycle of one character passing the "broken/OP" torch to the next character that players find to better even better after that previous character is nerfed hard.... So the easy way to break that cycle is give out more torches with varying degrees of flames but torches none the less... nerfing Happy Chaos and Giovanna etc would just mean that Sol and whoever else will be broken, and then we'll start this dance again endlessly! How about not? ._.
@@vonflare4709 yes, that is literally how it always works! In every fighting game, fps, Yu-Gi-Oh even .... When when good character is nerfed enough then another will take their place! Goldlewis is so bad dude. You literally have to get in ONE WHOLE TIME. I should be able to have guard crush plus frame mixups for 5% chip at full screen. 🙄
Not only can you FD once to negate the high low mixup (because both low BTs won't reach), but you can interrupt all of the BTs that are plus on block, only the 2 fastest ones that are negative can't be interrupted. People say he's bad because he has polarizing match-ups, not because the character itself is bad, even when he does have strong weaknesses. And I don't know about mixing you up from full screen, lol. If your issue is getting hit by the long range overhead BT, know that a long won't hit you at that range, lmao. Say, if he was closer and actually did a high-low mixup, it's the same as before, you can interrupt it, backdash it, FD it, and even throw it if he's close enough. And just to finish, not everyone is able to do the stuff Darkrai does, doing 684H while in neutral isn't free, it's obviously not hard if you're good, but implying that every Goldlewis that you fight will play like this, is like thinking every HC player can do his 3F link combos and chain guard crush shots endlessly. Just learn the match-up.

@@chromulus2225 yeah it's true that happy chaos isn't the most broken thing since buttered toast but it's fine to complain especially since the fullscreen steady aim zoning isn't impressively fun to fight against for just about anyone let alone characters like i-no and nago who cant get in without gimmicky meter options. it might not be a "just win" option but happy chaos' win conditions are very easy to fulfill compared to the rest of the strive cast
Kreeg used to play smashy bros but his Happy Chaos can kinda bust it down sexual style lowkey
He should have watched Jiyuna's video. Just spam jump D and you win. :P
I refuse to believe that HC was intended to be played like this. It's just so stupid and unfun to fight with any character, and goes completely against the trailer showing him as a rushdown mixup. I'm expecting season 2 balance changes to nerf HC in some way.
I think I found the answer for sure. Just win round start RPS and always guess right to bait burst= easy win on happy chaos. Idk why I haven’t been doing this yet but that will be my game plan going forward
Just now noticed that Happy Chaos isn't wearing shoes and it upsets me deeply. I thought that he might be wearing some boots but then I noticed his toes and my day is ruined.
goldlewis highkey wins
If minigun gave goldlewis armor it'd probably solve a lot of his problems
I actually have mad respect for this chaos, he’s playing up close instead of sitting in a corner
That's one of the scary things about him though. If they know what they're doing, he's dangerous at any range.
One of the lamest characters in any fighting game tbqh
Ram exist :)))))))))))
Lex Luther vs Zod...
@vaLy sometimes when a good player appears yes
I dont care how salty i sound. As long as happy chaos exists i will never respect this game as competitive. Theres no such thing as being "good" at a game with happy chaos in it. Guilty gear is the exact same thing as mario party until happy chaos is removed. :)
You know you can just have a pocket potemkin and have free wins in tourneys against HC right?
Can’t tell if this is high iq lifejam bait
@@affegpus4195 you do know that Pot vs HC is a 5-5 MU right? There’s no free wins there
@@KingAfrica4 is still his worse matchup ;)
@@affegpus4195 I think most people's pocket Pot would lose to a good HC main tbh. slide head invalidates his long range game but you still need a lot of discipline to win mid
man they really made hc the most boring character to fight and watch :/
"Happy Chaos needs to be nerfed and have steady aim removed and remove the guard crush too because it is annoying to play against and isn't fair and I don't want to learn a way around it!" - the FGC probably
this but unironically
How about not? ._.
@@DANCERcow "you can't nerf the best character because then a different character will be the best!"
seriously?
@@vonflare4709 yes, that is literally how it always works! In every fighting game, fps, Yu-Gi-Oh even .... When when good character is nerfed enough then another will take their place! Because we as humans when it comes to most things in life, work gaming etc will always look for the best way to do things, the most effective and efficient methods to succeed!
I genuinely think if HC couldn't cancel his reload, he'd be much less oppressive, though I guess that ruins his gameplan.
I think they could add an extra couple frames to the end of the cancel animation and it would help. It would be a nerf for sure and they might need to tweak some things but I think it would help
The imbalance in this game is ridiculous. Idk why people play it. Guess they aren't good at actual competitive fighting games.
Of course no one knows what Goldlewis does. Why would anyone play such an ugly character.
shut up fate fan you love ugly characters
