Is it really needed to change that isolation sponge beneath the battery enclosure? I would get a second battery and quickly change only that during the long range trips. Would that be okay? EDIT: I just read on your website that the newer Molicel P42A cellpack is larger than the one from 2 years ago (probably 21700 instead of 20700 cells), so that's why.
