USI Rave Guardian App, Public Safety

USI has launched a free mobile App available for iOS and Android devices that allows students, faculty, and staff access to a variety of safety features on their personal devices. The USI features of the app can be activated by anyone with an active USI directory listing. Rave Guardian is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Rave Guardian is a Free Mobile App that allows USI students, faculty and staff access to a variety of safety features on their personal devices. It has different features like:
-Safety Timer: set a timer for the duration you expect to be traveling. If the timer expires the app sends a text message alert to a “Guardian” (a personal contacted designated by the user)
Chat: Allows users to directly and, if desired, anonymously contact USI Public Safety via chat (only works on campus)
USI Emergency: All Public Safety with a touch of a button (only works on campus)
Important Numbers/USI on the Web: phone numbers and online resources at a touch of the button
Inbox: messages from Public Safety including the RAVE emergency alerts.
