FYI, users. I signed up for nabu casa through my home assistant menu and apparently config file editing is no longer required. Mine just worked as soon as I figured out where my url link was provided to me. Seems very cool so far. Can't tell I'm not local.

To use echo devices as sepakers do I need to use the alexa media player integrations first or the nabu casa integration does it all? Thanks!
Afaik there is now way for any Alexa Skill to make random TTS Announcement
@ I want to use my echo devices to do TTS as suggested in the video but I am having problems with the alexa media player integration. I don't quiet understand your answer.
The only way I've found to use Alexa speakers is through Voice Monkey. Kind of a tedious process but it works. The paid version ($6 per year) has several voices available and a few more options. I was hoping Nabu Casa would enable custom speech through the speakers, but it appears that is not the case.
HELP. I trialed Nabu Casa with burner email account and decided to setup permanently and used my real email account and now can't remove the burner email account from my Home Assistant instance even though I deleted the burner email account in Nabu Casa. How do I unlink the burner email account in Nabu Casa and put in the new "real" email account?
I just wish my works with google devices that don’t work with home assistant or have an API would show as devices in sync.
I followed this and added cloud: to my config, getting errors and nabu not showing up at all on configuration. any suggestions:

Odd, I have tried to comment twice and they keep disappearing it seems.

Nabu Casa has horrible lag and many timeouts. Alexa always reports "...not responding"
