Bought a second hand Wii U just to play Zelda: Botw. Then found out it had another 8/9 brilliant games which I loved playing. Captain Toad and Donkey Kong: TF being remastered 4 years later is testament to the quality of these games. One of my favourite suprise systems

Animal Crossing amiibo Festival was disappointing on monumental levels. First you see from the trailer you're getting an Animal Crossing game on the Wii U. Then you see the town in stunning HD visuals. Then Isabelle pops out of the train station and reveals...the board game. Then your heart sinks to the floor. But, honestly, you forgot Ultra Trash...I mean Ultra Smash. Holiday rushed. No tournament mode. Small, lackluster roster. Only ONE stadium. Surprised it wasn't on here especially with the hype of Mario Tennis Aces.
The Switch is reminding me of the original Wii. A console with a big gimmick with good game releases few and far between. The online shop is becoming just as bad. Full of junk mobile games being sold for stupidly high prices. Just because a lot of Switch's have been sold doesn't mean it is a great system. The Wii sold very, very well, but most of the owners were mum's who bought them to do workouts on the Wii Fit and never did. Parents who bought them for kids and rarely got used. Or people who bought them on the cheap to mod. Most Wii's were dust collectors, but people fail to say that when talking about the system. I believe The Switch is going in the exact same direction. Maybe it will prove me wrong, but it is seriously looking like it. I own a Switch and I very rarely turn the thing on. I will get a lot of hate for this comment from Nintendo fanboys who are in denial. I have no doubt about that.
Dixie Pixie I respect what you're saying, mainly because of how Nintendo is porting Wii U titles to the Switch. But I think Nintendo is starting to learn from their mistakes and they've made a system where people can play games in a way where it surpasses even the GBA and DS, as good as those systems are. I do feel, however, that Nintendo should have taken a different approach with their digital content and brought a virtual console on there instead of mobile games that weren't even good when they originally came out on the phone. But what saves the Switch is the library of physical games for it that make the Switch worth people's time, as well as take the traits of the Wii U--or tacking on traits that the Wii U COULD'VE had--and made it where we can either choose to play it as a console, or play it as a portable console. It does have its problems, battery wise, at least, but maybe Nintendo will figure out something about that BESIDES a better Switch. It will get better over time once we get more original games, and a BETTER eshop.
Thank god we got a good reboot last year. Plus, we are gonna get an updated version of that particular reboot this year so I think SEGA should dust their hands off of development and leave it to Mr. Christian Whitehead.

Meme Run is still on my console, I think it's alright for $5. I actually used free credit thru the Wii U ambassador program (or whatever it was called) to buy it, so in a way it didn't really cost me a thing. I had enough credit after buying Pier Solar. Great game, but I ended up buying it on Steam after I saw that the PC version's demo performed better (even on my subpar laptop I had at the time). So basically, the Wii U version is the worst somehow. This game _really_ should've been released on the 3DS also. One exclusive game you could've mentioned was Lost Reavers. It's a F2P online game by Bandai Namco that shits on single players and multi players alike. Finding teammates was basically up to luck after Miiverse was taken offline, and even while Miiverse was around we had a potion problem. The bosses in the game are HARD, and it was a cycle of beating older missions to earn potions, and then going for a raid. Sometimes, I found myself being the ONLY player who brought potions, which was frustrating as all hell. And if everyone died? Too bad! We lost the battle and your precious potions I and my teammates spent anyway are gone. That said though, beating a boss was VERY rewarding but the returns were just diminishing because it was really hard to get anywhere in this game. It was a very inconsistent experience. Pre-scripted chat (Club Penguin style) made it hard to communicate (SMASH 4 HAD VOICE CHAT), and the lack of in-game money to spend on potions just ruined it.

I find Fight of Gods and Fight of Beasts unappealing to my eyes. Why the hell was Meme Run on Wii U? It should have been an iPhone or Android game instead. Don’t even get me started on that party game. Why are so many party games terrible? Probably because they fail to reach Mario Party levels of quality.
If only Mighty No 9 and any Sonic games on the console should have never failed, it would've save Nintendo from going even downhill. Also, why is Star Fox Zero not in a dishonorable mentions? THAT GAME KILLED THE CONSOLE AS WE ALL KNOW IT!
