I’ve followed since the beginning. These vids are awesome. I LOVE the production value you’ve added to the later videos, the amazing camera work... but these “tutorials” for those of us who have followed for a long time and have taken time to put together the resources necessary to get started. Just got my first forge put together yesterday and fired it up. It’s magical.
I think, that if you re-visited some of the basic skills, tutorial stuff with the advanced production value would be an amazing project. And bring a lot of people along with these old world skills.
    Love you guys.

I've been watching you for literal years and have been hooked since. I finally have a forge and "anvil" and this leaf hook is what I'm going to try and actually make. Even though your quite a bit younger than me, you have definitely helped me more than I could explain. Watching your videos have helped me in so many different ways. Obviously not just blacksmithing since I've JUST starting but the discipline you have in everything you do. I've tried to take a lot of that and put it towards other parts of my life. Thank you

Alec Steele- thank you for opening my eyes to new great projects to do. I got into blacksmithing to make knifes and weapons but you have inspired me to do tools, ornamental art and all sorts of really neat things so that is again dude

My anvil shows up next week. I've been wanting to get into this for years. Finally taking the plunge. I think I'll just work my way through these beginner vids and I learn. I got all my tools, even a diy forge and some rebar. Once my anvil gets here, I'll be ready to hit some metal. Very excited.

Alec.. Well done! This was the 1st project I ever made in class. I do like the play by commentary on your how-to videos.
I sure would like to see the details/measurements on your propane forges and burners.
    Thanks for the video..

Great videos with good commentary!!! What kind of anvil is that, it looks very useful rather then the more 'common image' style.

Alec, you make it look so easy and I appreciate your 'basic' lessons so much. I am a beginner and had much success with my first two tiny projects but am having the most difficult time recreating the conditions!?! Beginners luck? but I have a grand time trying though. Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year with much success in the future.

I can't wait to start my own forge and shape the metal into whatever comes to mind. Thank you, Alec

For several intro videos, you use the round die of your hammer for tapers, etc... What if we don't have a rounding hammer? Will it just be slower to form the taper? Or will the technique need to change to get a similar result

In for the life of me can't taper like that or extent the metal on the edge of the anvil. I keep getting cold shuts and ruining the metal from the edge of the anvil (it's rounded) because I can't find the raise to case a long taper
