    I LOVED my surgery rotation! Being first assist was a ton of fun, and I got pretty good at sewing. What's your plan once you finish up school?

    Wait. I love this! I am deciding between MD or PA and knowing that you can do so much as a surgical PA is really reassuring to me! Thank you!

      What did you decide on ??? I’m a freshman in undergrad struggling to decide between PA and MD but I’m really interested in surgery and don’t know what to do 😭😭 Appreciate you :) 🙏

    Great video.....have you met any ANESTHESIOLOGY PA's and whats it like

    • @AdannaThePA
      @AdannaThePA  5 років тому +3

      Good question! Unfortunately that is one area I personally have not seen a PA. That is usually reserved for the CRNA. Typically when I see anesthesiologists dont require help, and they are relieved by other anesthesiologists.

    Adana you must be Genius to do central line , are you guys trained at the PA school to do all that? We are not trained, I feel we are too shallow in surgery staff, all I do is just observe in surgery lool

    Watching this now during my summer break. But we did our surgery module not too long ago. So did they tell you the first day what to do? Like you’re explaining everything you did. We have talked about the things like moving, draping, shaving, etc but it depends on them or course and you don’t know exactly until you do it. I am interested in surgery. I would possibly like to do general with emphasis on GI.
