- When Momotaro and Kintaro are playing, there are many times when Gentaro suddenly stands by and watches over them. Gentaro must be worried about Kintaro. Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO.
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAC.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro is
makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

It sorghum, it is used to make sugar. So the phloem is sweet and soft. Looks delicious.

I agree Gentaro does come to watch them, he doesn’t want Dad hurting him. He wants to play with Momo but it’s different the way he does it when he’s trying to keep him from hurting Kinny. Momo doesn’t understand his own strength and what Kinny can handle versus what Gentaro can handle is different. .
Wonderful seeing Gentaro and Genki eating close together, both being calm.

I see him do this a lot when Momo and Kinny are playing. Sometimes I think he just wants to play also but there are times when Kinny looks overwhelmed by big Daddy and maybe Gentaro can hear a difference in Kintaro’s grunts or whatever. Just like Genki would take Kinny away when she thought the play was getting rough. I think it’s normal for Gentaro to feel some concern as he his learning for when he has little ones😊
I agree, he comes to help Kinny. I just love these sweet boys relationship and love for each other.
You are right, Kinny gets overwhelmed when Momo holds him down and he can’t get up. I mean who in their right mind would want someone doing that to them all the time.
All he ever wanted was moms love... He's becoming a handsome silverback

Yes, that's correct. It's a secondary sex characteristics, under influence of male hormones. In due time most silverbacks will have their own troop of females, and the babies they fathered.
I disagree with ur subtext that GT is worried for KT when he is with Momo! GT just wants to be included in the fun with his dad, it’s not worry for KT ! Momo has NEVER shown an ounce of aggression towards KT except when eating and KT doesn’t pay attention to that!
