never sit at a light in neutral bro, always in first gear with your foor on the rear brake and the other one down.. you never know when you need to move in a hurry when some wingnut in an SUV doesn't see you and rear ends. stay safe out there!
Sorry a bit late. But those clutches are heavy on air cooled Ducati's and if the lights take a long time to change is uncomfortable. That said finding neutral can be problematic on Ducati's.

Very interested how would they compare to my machines as I have also old gsxr 1000k1 which is also very raw in its power delivery. Did you have a chance to try those modern hyper naked machines?

I had a few ktm 950s over the year. I really tried to like the LC8 engines, but they feel terrible at low rpm. Feels like the timing chain is about slap the engine apart. The 1100 Hyper is just smooth and pulls from any rpm.

You just said it doesnt have a quickshiffter and then you switch gears without clutch 😱 Thats why I dont let anybody drive my hypermotard...
You don’t need to clutch when shifting up. Just let off the throttle and gear slides smoothly in. No harm….
Same here… these European gearboxes are so clunky lol but the bikes are cool
No need for a clutch on up-shifts. Been racing (Ducati) bikes on track for years without a quickshifter. Just close the gas and shift. No worries. Confident an aftermarket quickshifter will do a lot more damage on these older bikes.
By the way, (up) shifting without a clutch works fine with a car as well.
