- We are back with another video in our "Comparing" series! In this video I am talking about Saskatchewan's two largest cities: Regina and Saskatoon. In the last video about New Brunswick, I got a lot of suggestions for minor tweaks I should make moving forward. I took the advice and changed a few little things. I hope you guys enjoy this one, I'm really happy with how it turned out. This video contains detailed information about both Regina and Saskatoon. Both are terrific cities with a lot to offer.
If you guys are interested in more videos like this one, please let me know in the comments!

From Toronto. I do prefer Saskatoon quite a lot over Regina but both seem like decent places to live. Sask just seems a bit more vibrant and lively.
Yeah we are better
I can confirm we are better.
Really Really thank you 🙏🏻 Great information
Cool video, having spent a lot of time in both cities I think Saskatoon is better overall. More vibrant, better green spaces and more options in the core area. Excellent food scene. Regina has a lot to offer too, and it seems to have gotten better over the past 10 years. Saskatchewan overall is very underrated! Cheers
Thanks for input I'm looking forward to visiting both this summer now that I have passport
Awesome video!! Keep up the great work 👍
Compare Saskatoon and Winnipeg next if possible.
Thank you for this very detailed video
thanks for watching!
Very interesting, Sask seems to be a very underrated province. It's very nice to see your own insight of places you've visited, like Saskatoon. Maybe do Vancouver compared to Victoria next! The two biggies of the Canadian Pacific.
I agree. So many hear the word "Saskatchewan" and then write it off because it's too "boring". There really is a lot to love about the province.
Vancouver and Victoria is a great idea! I'll add it to my list :)
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Nice job. Saskatoon is well managed and the river makes it special.
Regina is not as polished but equal in every other way
The Wascana winds it’s way through the city and is actually more user friendly than the South Saskatchewan
Thanks for the video! It would be nice to see some statistics regarding crime rates, as it could be different. And this weather chart was not very informative, lacking median temperatures, precipitation and wind speeds (the difference between these two cities is small, but the numbers themselves are definitely fearful; e.g. winter temperatures of -30-40 C with an average wind speed of 30-50 kph, as I've noticed from local forecasts, could easily change one's decision to move there). Anyway, another great video, keep doing them, please!
Thanks for the statistics.. commendable 👍🏻
Can you make a video which is nice, either North Pole or South Pole?
Thanks greatly for your reasonable info.
As a person who's considering moving into Canada it was a valuable comparison of two cities. And I'm really thankful, You didn't start complaining about the level of criminal activity in Saskatchewan. Because, I think, like in Winnipeg, it's hugely overrated. Just human nature to raise the fuss about something
Do calgary and ottawa comparison next pls
How much snow in a year? Coldest nights in winter???
Can you do a updated one
Okay I live in central Florida a lot of Canadians spend the winter here from Ontario and Quebec, how about a video on the Tampa Bay Metro area St Pete Tampa compared to the Orlando metro area
Very well done. Thank u
What is better Regina or Saskatoon?
Could you please let me know in little bit detail what would be the cost of living and what about schooling facility in Regina and Saskatoon? A great thanks in advance. I am from Bangalore, India
Are you moving to saskatchwen?
Late response, sorry. It depends on what you want to study for school but the University of Saskatchewan (in Saskatoon) is a lot larger than the University of Regina. It has a much better engineering program, although Regina’s nursing program is generally more well-regarded. In terms of cost of living, both cities will be cheap compared to most of the country. Saskatoon is slightly more expensive and prices are rising.
Which city is best to do business like store from both of city?
Saskatoon
Calgary n Edmonton
hey , u missed few important points, the jobs availability and the minimum wage/salary , Rent prices , cost of living ...etc , that is what new comers need to know about the city they are moving in.
❤❤
I intend to immigrate to Canada to live there, what is the best city to live in in terms of work and a new start
Totally depends on what you're looking for. Check out some of my other content to learn about different regions in Canada!
Try the bigger cities first. (Montreal Toronto Ottawa Calgary etc
can you do New Delhi vs Karachi🙃
Do Miniota and Manor
Two bustling metro areas if I do say so myself
I love Saskatoon it was cool and felt a warm welcome there eh
It's expensive to rent 1-bed room as a student, I expect it 800 CAD.
Around 950$
Yeah, but hat's about the older one who's getting over sixty five or seventy years of age?
Comparing Calgary and Saskatoon with Saskatoon as a smaller version of Calgary.
@@Whatdoingdog44 I guess I was thinking of the skyline and way the city looks compared to how I have seen Calgary.
@@Whatdoingdog44 calgary's main industries have nothing to do with agriculture.
@@cityboyis2 you're a idiot if you think Calgary has nothing to do with agriculture… energy is obviously the largest sector in Calgary all of Alberta for that matter but agriculture is the second leading sector in the city. Do you think the nickname Cowtown is just a random nickname… or the stampede, do you just think this is a random festival that just takes place in Calgary. Honestly if you think the Ag business has nothing to do with Calgary you sir are a fucking moron and I don't really know how to phrase that any nicer. Where do you think all the ag products that are produced in Alberta get shipped from? Brooks lol no Calgary All the wheat, oats etc. get shipped from Calgary💀
Prince George, B.C. & Kamloops B.C. 👍
why not a new capital for Saskatchewan. a new center for the province.
Moose Jaw and Prince Albert
Prince Albert is bigger but Moose Jaw is usually safer
Loved in both they both have flaws small towns are better
i dunno how you Canadians manage to pronounce the name Regina without laughing every time.
😂
I always hear the v instead of the r🤦🏽♂️
Well most of us learned the provincial capitals in our country before learning sex education because we have a decent education system, so that probably has something to do with it.
As someone from Vancouver Saskatchewan seems like rental heaven.
Both cities look like boring places, frankly. What's next? Moose Bone, or Horse Jaw, or whatever the heck they're called?
Not even a comparison. Saskatoon is better
Kill me now
I hate Regina never going back there again “smh
Can you share whats bad things in Regina?
@@bbmpalace9648 it’s the worse city to party at 🦵
@@TopxGee You mean it's dangerous walking around at night?
@@prettyme3150 ya pretty sure lol I almost got stabbed one night
@@TopxGee goood looks liké Saskatchewan ls not that safe
