I own a 2021 GT pro. love it for last 3 years. I dont do a lot of off roading here in minnesota but can ride down to 30F cold weather with heated grips and seat and good wind protection.
i want to ask where in india you can cruise above 130 safely on highway for long period without worrying about opposite side incoming alto , splendor , cow & truck drivers , nibba ktm gt 650 riders , self owned creta , nexon drivers. P.s India should have its own autobahn just for bikes :D
You're forgetting that this is a 3 cylinder engine which typically is the most shaky of all engines. The vibrations are something you have to live with if you want an experience like how the tiger offers. 300 to 400s just cannot offer that experience. I'd suggest you ride this and then compare which would still not make sense as they're both completely different segments in engine capacity, ergonomics AND bike style.
Yes, I know this is 3 cylinder and I am an engg by profession and have fair idea how engines works.. I meant to say in such budget biles engines should and should be smooth
@@strongthunderlightening4978 being an engineer has nothing to do with this. Well for an example, if you ride a buttery smooth inline-4 like a gsxr-1000 or even a cbr650r for 5 mins and then get on any 300cc bike trust me your hands will buzz so much you can't even feel the handle of the 300 for a good few mins that's how much they vibrate. I agree this tiger isn't the smoothest of the lot but if vibrations are a make it or break it point for you I'm sorry but you're better off driving a car

RE and Triumph were launched at the same time almost, but after Eicher acquired RE it became local for us, RE in recent times have upgraded much, 650cc is now very much accessible and i wish soon they will launch 850cc, and then we would get those bikes at a price of 5 lakh ex-showroom. I want to purchase a big bike although using a interceptor 650 since 2019 and want to upgrade but price difference is huge, waiting for 850cc RE bike eagerly
I ride tiger 900 gt pro here in the UK and love every bit of it !!!! Shame they don’t sell GT pro in India ! You must visit Trimph factory tour ; if you are a fan
Suzuki has a bike called the v strom 800 RE which is perfect for the indian market and will give some serious competition to the 900 gt. But alas they gave us the DE which serves only a handful of bikers in india
How is the navigation system in the GT900 . any reviews about it would be useful. One of the reasons i would like to go for 900 rather than 850 sport is to avoid handlebar mounts.
The biggest threat to this bike is the Transalp. The two major drawbacks of this are covered on that. The engine is smoother, no such vibrations and second no heat issue or rather much much less heating. Service cost is also cheaper on the Honda. Sure you miss a few features, but you can add cruise control and tubeless tyres if you wanted to.
Indeed! I bought the Transalp a few months ago and absolutely love it. The power and torque figures are close but TA is lighter than the Tiger. Despite me buying engine and tank guards, a sump guard, barkbusters hand guards, Aux lights, the TA still costs less than the 14.15L ex showroom price of the Tiger. It's also a lot cheaper to maintain and reliable.
Being a casual adventure rider with less liking for off-roading I'm planning to test ride this bike. having said that would like to see a comparison between new GT 900 and the 950GS launched recently
The seat adjustment looks like new himalayan 450. Suspension travel is more in the himmy, vibrating pattern same like 100-120. Not comparing but as a owner feeling that feel😅
Triumph india need to improve the dealership experience.....Owned 2 Triumphs and they have gone from bad to worst. Both buying and after sales service. Horrendous is an understatement for them.

Cruiser is too big and naked too uncomfortable for long duration rides , these bikes are somewhat middle ground and are more comfortable sitting posture and not compromised one😮
