yes you can use any fabric you like. I have made with various fabrics not posted yet.

Nice, but I don't feel comfortable wearing hats with the foundation being made of paper. That would damage in wet weather.
There are various materials options depending on what is available to your choice.
And just as you would not deep your shoes in the water, so u should also protect your hat.

you can find cement glue where they sell shoe maker's glue and the tacky glue can be found at craft store.. Thanks for watching

What is the name of the gum pls
It's the regular shoemaker glue. The white one is known as craft glue, it's like mod podge glue. It works great with all kinds of fabric but takes longer to dry. I used it more here ua-cam.com/video/ZpzWc1rsgiA/v-deo.html
