Thank you for the thorough and excellent review! I agree with the weak points of the flashlight that you mentioned (lower mAh batteries, the lack of neutral white emitters, the UI, and switch placement). At the price Fenix is asking, those weaknesses are dealbreakers for me. What Fenix got right was the stated lumen ratings and shape of the light.
I like mine a lot. I agree with the criticisms, though they weren’t a show stopper for me. What you don’t see as much in this review is the coverage of light. It’s nice that you’re looking down a path, but that’s only one situation. If you’re on a street or open field, this floods the area with light. Also, the strobe is a defense mechanism. You can’t appreciate the intensity from the video. It’s extremely impactful.

Hi, tell me which flashlight is better to buy for walking LR35R or TK35UE 2.0. Which flashlight reduces brightness faster? And which one heats up the most? For you, Type C is a minus or a plus. Sorry for my English, I'm from Russia
I want to buy this Flishlight but im afraid it will be too hot after a few hours of use. iI it not too hot to hold it in the hand on Turbo and high mode? Is there no danger that the flashlight will turn on by itself, wearing it in your pocket? This can cause a fire.
These types of High Output flashlights are not really for working conditions, they're mostly for brief use of turbo, not 30 minutes or more. If you want a flashlight that can do high Output for extended time then look at flashlights that have active cooling, although they are expensive. Or, look for a light that can do more Output than you need and then only run it on medium or high.

Tell us about your little railway there!
11:14 I don’t think the LR35 was in turbo mode. Thanks for the review.
Am quite surprised only @8500lm in turbo mode and that the TK35 was almost as good!

Thank you. Excellent review.
Means a lot:)
Superb review and night shots.
The TK35 was clearly the better of the two.

It dims down when it gets to hot. And you can lock it to prevent unintendet turning on;)
