Great video and detail. My last project was to recreate Al Bundy's "Dodge". I did, with an AMT kit from a close year. came out great but the process made me mad because nothing in AMT is like a good Tamiya kit. nothing sits flush or like it should. Hell, to get the body on the bottom took me extra pair of hands and 20 minutes of trying to not kill everyone around me. then I took it out, carved it once more, painted again and then again, another 20 minutes. Never ever will touch an AMT kit again. just for comparison, my previous project was skyline r34 z-tune. everything fitted like butter on a warm toast in a fine evening with a light breeze on the coast of heaven. oh yeah i liked the vid. thanks.
Man I'm just 13 and I have been taking lots of inspiration like using a tooth pick for glue and stuff like that. I just built a tamiya rx7. Thanks a lot mate.
May I ask what is the method you used to hold the parts on that stick? I found it really frustrating doing that when some of the parts needs to be painted entirely and there's no edges or notches to clip on it....

Another awesome job bro 👍👍 i just finished my 99 civic, working on my first tamiya thanks to you 😀
That cockpit tub's looked nice, how neat is that?
Being waiting for this video, really good interior.
Love your vids. Just picked up a Camaro 1/8, firebird 1/24, and a Corvette 1/24.
Doing the same kit right now too!!! Except Im trying to modify it with the Pandem transkit. Using the s2k vid and this :) awesome vids
Gotta admit, I was a bit let down when you didn't go with a red carpet...I always liked that in the EK9
Looks very realistic, I smell a showroom interior.
Are the Vallejo paints better for Handbrushing than Tamiya? I haven’t really had much luck with Tamiya Acrylics due to brush strokes being visible
Equal. Though when brushing youll always have brush marks. Thin the paint and apply multiple coats. That will help level it out
I would pay you to professionally paint my Honda S2000 diecast kit
The leather around the shift nob is not red but black.
Nice update

Double sided tape
Do you really need to primer everything? It seems a little over kill. I'm really curious. Because usually you prime metal to get better Adhesion.
Same for plastic. Better adhesion
What primer do you recommend?
what is the song
do you sand everything after you prime and paint the parts of just the body
Just the body
Paint those type R seats yellow and you can sell them for $2000
The seatbelts on the ek9 type r are red.
And mine are black
Top
Very good Video!!! :D
First btw :P
