Working with animals is very rewarding but is hard serious work. You have to be dedicated. This is not a game. You are helping to save lives. I believe this is so worthwhile. Thank God for the wonderful people that can and do do this.
I have a question - could I do this job even when my degree is something completely different? Could I perhaps get some experience volunteering? Thank you!
@@denisa7280 a kennel attendant/animal care attendant does not need a degree, I got my job at an animal shelter at the age of 15 with no experience, I’ve been working there ever since (I’m 20 now) however if you want do have a higher position with more pay you might need something else, you can also work your way up, as I did since now I’m a supervisor!
@@kajakol2344 I’ve been working at an animal shelter for 4 years doing kennels. You don’t need a degree unless you want to make more. I’ve since moved up to manger than vet assistant and now I’m in school to be a vet tech. I hoping to be a vet tech at the shelter I currently work for. You could also do animal science
when I look on the dogs for rehoming website the majority of the dogs I see are Staffordshire Bull terriers ... in the future I think I want to adopt an elderly dog... I always see puppies and younger dogs get adopted and I feel so bad for the elderly ones 😟
Thank you God for these wonderful people and organizations who TRULY care and help our innocent animals and children and our planet. Please bless them always with good health and good lives. In Jesus name Amen
