  • In this video, I restore and upgrade an old bench power supply to have accurate digital panel meters.

    Cool video! Wanting to do the same thing, could you specify the panel meters and the amp wiring? Only parts of the clip that i wish you’d shown...

      I've added an ebay link to the panel meters in the video description.
      The ammeter power is supplied by the dedicated power supply, and for measuring the current, the wire that attached to the front panel binding post +ve is disconnected from the binding post and then connected to the ammeter, then the other wire from the ammeter back to the +ve binding post.

    22:35 - I like those thin spanners. I usually use pointy-nose plyers and bugger things up haha.
    36:36 - Power indicator not working?

      The power LED is made to be dim, nice that it doesn't blast your eyes, but being backlit by the bench lights meant it wasn't visible in that shot.
