- The 2024 St. Louis Supercross by the numbers: Eli Tomac (450SX) and Levi Kitchen (250SX) both sweep their respective classes; Tomac claims 450SX win number 52, Tomac takes his 217th podium combined in 250cc and 450cc AMA Supercross and Motocross (most all-time); Kitchen makes history by leading all laps of all three 250SX races on the night (35 total); Kyle Chisholm makes his 200th combined 250cc and 450cc main event start; Tomac becomes the sixth different rider to win a 450SX race in the 12 rounds of the season to date; and more. I would rather see him relax and take as much time he needs to come back for SX in 2025 .
@@2216sammy Time off isn't gonna help him compete at the top of the class. We seen what the achillies injury did and how much time it takes to get back to race pace. Best would be finish the season and keep improving and come back next year swinging for that 2023 title that escaped him.
Eli you have fans galore that believe in you. So please stick around for a couple more years anything can happen in racing you know that better than anyone. Get the starts figured out that leads to podiums and podiums lead to championships go Eli !!!!
If Tomac retires can he please do the commentary instead of Carmichael

@Mikeymartin934 lots of them pop in a race here and there but actually taking the job and committing to be the guy every year at every race is a different story. AC is the best man for the job imo. We all know RC is bad but would they ever fire the GOAT?

There’s no universe where Eli isn’t top 5 all time of the modern era. He easily has the stats to back it up.

@alexdavies729 it's not that they could not it's that they chose not to. Dungey, Charmichael ,Villopoto, all Had 4 Sx titles by 26 made their money and got out. Huge tomac fan here, Make no mistake. What I'm saying is that it's a Gnarly Stat they did it so young.

Stewart that’s a for sure no. Possibly RC and Rv. Having a longer career and still winning is more impressive imo. Let’s not kid ourselves the reason Dungey even has those titles is Rv retired and or everyone was hurt, Tomac making mistakes/ Marv pulling over.

When you take into account that Tomac would have AT LEAST two more SX 450 championships if his Kawasaki's didn't cause him to get multiple DNFs and that he had last years chip in the bag until that freak injury he's right at the top of the list .
3 more titles!.he lost to Anderson,Webb,and Sexton..he beats these guys 9 out of 10 races straight up!

No matter what is was Tomac was the real Champ in my eyes.
Those DNFS were huge. Also would’ve won on the geico in outdoors if he didn’t blow his shoulders. Realistically Tomac has given away at least 3 championships. Similar to Stewart.

Asking him to do outdoors is a little much , he said he questioned himself about coming back from the injury this year and he also said before the last race that he DID NOT feel strong . I want to see a 100% Tomac and an entire outdoor season is a brutal undertaking .
Outdoors I doubt but I wouldn’t be surprised if he did another year in super cross for sure.
Even when Tomac didn’t get Championships he still managed to get a win or two. I really do hope he keeps with this momentum rolling and tighten the points and hoping he can close it out on Jett!

@@donnieburger3721 he won almost every championship he ever entered. Swept MXoN on a 250. Solved Dungey every single year, something that Eli couldn’t do once. He came in, won and left. Quality not quantity my friend.

RC,Stew,RV,Tomac. Most skilled riders ever. Championships aren’t everything, people saying they won more than eli in half the timespan like Eli hasn’t raced the most depth in moto history while giving away championships when he was young. Gave away the outdoor title on geico, bike blew up on him multiple times when he was going for a 4peat. We know what happened last year in sx(should be a 3 time champ). Regardless Tomac is a top 3 outdoor rider of all time and unlike the other guys he got better with age. Stew didn’t get to showcase his full potential outdoors because he signed the SX only deal in the middle of his prime. And he’s still #2 on the all time combined career wins. McGrath was great no doubt but the era in which he raced was weak(don’t care cry about it old heads). I’m taking ET,Stew,Rc,and RV everyday of the week over him.

He for sure has a better Vocabulary and speaks more clearly than Ricky. Plus Ricky never has a opinion. That's why we love Js7 he breaks things down so the squids or even people who don't ride can understand. Plz bring James back...
I like Ricky in the box but I would love to see Tomac fill in at times. I would love to see him comeback and ride motocross. Yeah it’s a lot tougher and when they get older motocross is what is dropped but Eli was born to race outside. Motocross is not the same, that is where you truly saw beast mode. Super-cross just does not have the room or explosiveness and I love listening To Jason he gets so excited when the action heats up you ban help but love when he yell woo did you see that even Ricky he turned on nothing how in the world did he do that, I would like to see Eli racing some 2 strokes. That little shoot he did on his dads ranch on the Kawasaki KX 250 if you have not seen that Carson Brown eat your heart out Eli threw that bike where ever he wanted it to go and the roosts on those burns was flying. Some of the best 2 stroke riding I have ever seen and I grew up on 2 strokes and watched some pro riders from my area in the 80’s including the CR 500’s. Back then you could watch CR 500’s wheelie up the
face of sand mountain having paddle tires on but I’m willing to bet the best riders could do that without the paddle tires. Those CR 500’s were special.

Tomac could start in 20th, Dungey starts in 1st and ET would still catch up and pass him and pull an 8 second gap. or hangtown when they were 1-2 on the first lap and Tomac put 1:30 on him. That my friend is getting owned.

Racers cut down in those bowl corners all the time. If Jett wasn’t there Barcia would’ve jumped that berm and probably hit & knocked down the big leader poll as fast as he came into that corner.

Eli can’t beat Jett. Jett came from like 11th to almost beat Eli in the first, no comment on second, and 3rd race cheech and chong took out Jett. Jett’s still a kid with dumb luck but can out ride the whole group

Honestly the field was not as strong last year as it had been 5 years prior there was a lot of racer not even racing I think Kenny may have only raced a couple I do not know what it is with Sexton but he does not race Jett like some of those Tomac Sexton Battles if you go back and watch those 2 are just on another level. Tomac in his Honda days almost lapped the entire field go back and watch that I thin he lapped up to 4th or 5th place.

The fact is Jett’s youth is the biggest obstacle the top older riders have. My fear is we will see a dominant Jett in the years to come until a 250 rider moves up, kitchen? Deegan if he can keep his head straight.
