- A decade ago, Eli Tomac was not yet a champion in AMA Pro Motocross, but he took a massive step towards his first title at the 2013 Spring Creek National. Today we are highlighting the second moto in the 250 class from that day where Tomac came from a bad start to work through the best 250 riders in the world at the time and complete a 1-1 sweep of the day. Was this the birth of Beastmode? It certainly looks like it.

the most stacked 250 class ever, this whole generation was nasty
Tomac is In a perpetual state of attack mode.. it’s impressive to watch. Such an aggressive style that’s not seen very often. Deegan has the same energy.

250 Class is ALWAYS stacked! Just have to realize the talent right in front of you! Kitchen, Shimoda, H. Lawrence, Deegan, they're the stars of tomorrow. Don't sleep on ANY of em just cuz they're in the 250 class.
Tomac vs. Roczen for the past 10 years has been such a treat. They had a great battle at A2 this year. And their battle in 2014 here at spring creek both as 450 rookies I think is one of the best battles of all time. First year with Mt. Martin I believe also

I first met Balke at an Amatuer motocross event in 2015. We talked about racing, went for a walk, held hands and watched the sunset. Blake is an amazing guy and I will never forget that day.

IMO. Him retiring and essentially giving up on his career early makes him rated properly.

When I was in Middle School I saw in a glass case a school project (my friend had made) about Eli Tomac when he was #43 on an 85 Suzuki. To imagine that his career would pan out the way it has after all these years is absolutely wild.
That pass on Baggett was something else man he set that up perfectly when he railed that turn before the table

I know this is focusing on *Tomac* what shows *Baggett* retired to early I know he had contract dispute not getting paid with a team I thought he would take a year off for contractual reasons just surprised he never came back

I will first state that I am a big Eli Tomac fan but, Marshawn Lynch was the 1st person to be nickname "Beastmode" and rightfully so! This happened during the 2010-11 NFL season when in a playoff game which saw him rush for 67 yards while breaking nine tackles, is considered one of the greatest runs in NFL history. So announcers should be a little more respectful, creative and stop stealing nicknames from other sports.

@@eric6rock Yes, but Jett will beat Eli. I like Eli much, but I think it's gonna be a decade of Jett unless Jett beats himself. Either way looks like a great year coming to SMX racing. I do feel that 23 got a gift and will not win another championship in the 450 class unless something happens again, like with Eli. What do you think...I'll put a $1 on it : )
I was saying back when i got to watching MOTOCROSS again since RICKY RETIRED. I SAW BAGGET RACING TOMAC. DIDN'T KNOW EITHER RIDER. BUT SAW SEVERAL RACES, CAN'T SAY WHAT YEAR, DON'T REMEMBER. BUT I REMEMBER SAYING THAT BAGGET DUDE IS THE FASTEST GUY OUT THERE. AND WILL WIN MANY TITLES. THAT WAS BEFORE THIS TIME BY QUITE A FEW YEARS. I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHY? BUT BAGGETT WAS FASTER AND BETTER THAN TOMAC AND EVERYONR ELSE OUT THERE AT THE TIME I STARTED WATCHING MOTOCROSS AGAIN. SEEMS LIKE IT WAS THE 250 CLASS . BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHO WERE THE 450 BEST IF THEY WERE DTILL ON 259S
Baggett never won a 459 title that I can remember tho. I said BAGGETT JUST DOESN'T TRAIN TO BE THE BEST OR HE WOULD BE. BECAUSE I AM STILL KEEPING UP WITH MOTOCROSS YEAR AFTER YEAR. AND BAGGETT COULD BE WAY OUT FRONT AND GET CAUGHT , PASSED AND THEN LOSE SEVERAL MORE POSITIONS. BAGGETT WAS FASTER THAN TOMAC. AND IF HE TRAINED RIGHT TOMAC MIGHT NOT HAVE CAME ALONG TO BECOME MY FAVORITE RIDER FOR YRARD. AND STILL IS. BUT PEOPLE JETT IS AN OTHER WORLDLY TYPE OF GUY THAT MOTOCROSS HAS NEVER SAW SINCE THE START OF MOTOCROSS. HE STAYS HEALTHY AND DOESN'T HAVE A WRECK THAT ENDS HIS CAREER HE WILL SET ALL NEW RECORDS KNOW MATTER WHERE HE GOES. I'D LOVE TO SEE TOMAC BE ABLE TO RUN WITH JETT IN ,2024. JUST Don't think it's gonna happen guys. Supercross id the best chance at beating JETT. OUTDOORS, EVERYBODY CAB JUST FORGET IT
