Thank you for this wonderful video of these fine musicians and I love the clarinet playing Of Gervase de Peyer whose tone and expressive playing was so musical and dare I say English! They played the instruments by Boosey & Hawkes but A lot of days those of the last English Clarinet maker Peter Eaton. Who still makes instruments today put on the hall thought distinctive English sound has all but disappeared. So thank you that you have let me hear those beautiful sounds with the other musicians of course today - God bless you and yours - Bill. UK
I remember watching this as a teenager when it first aired, not realising that the presenter was John Rutter. How refreshing to see it again now, and a wonderful performance. Thank you @scioncroft

Who is playing the harp ?
+ Wilfried Berk Not me.
It is Oona O'donovan. She was in the Philharmonia but gave up entirely at the peak of her career. She taught two of my harp teachers.
