I would recommend finding another company if you are looking for a UV Printer. I regret buying my iUV 600s, way too much wasted time as this thing has endless connection problems and Unknown errors. pretty sure they ship these things with a gremlin inside.

what we're the issues that occurred with this machine?

@@harlydibundu7906 the motor that lifts the printing table malfunctioned. The wiring on the part for that was faulty.
The printheads all dropped. One day it was printing and just stopped. The machine was under warranty, but we were told that the company does not guarantee the print head. You can buy from the company for $3,000, while the same/very similar model can be found online for $500.
The fuse blew. A couple of dobbers (I forget what they are called, but they connect the print lines to the print head) broke.
You name a problem with a printer and we had it all with this machine. The service guys try to help, but the machine just keeps braking day after day.

This company does not support their products. I bought their IUV 1200 printer from Graphics One in California in January 2017, many hardware and software problems. Local technicians are not trained properly, support and parts has to come from Australia. I spent more than $40,000. for this printer with 29" x 45" print area, can only print 12" x 29". Contacted the Owner of Impression Technology in Australia, no response so far.

I am so sorry that you have had problems getting support on your UV printer. We took over the dealership for the United States in January of this year. I think and one of the reasons is we're a larger company with more support personnel and a history with digital printing and with impressions. For ColDesi customers on-site installation and free technical support is always included. We've got almost 20 years of experience in the printing industry and have a vested interest in keeping happy customers because we Supply a wide variety of other products as well. If you'd like to private message me I'd be glad to see if there is anything that I can do for you.

There is another company: Michigan Graphics & Award contacted me with the same problem regarding this IUV 1200 printer. They bought is from ColDesi, not getting support even within warranty. The bed moving mechanism is not precise, multi-pass registration is horrible, white ink overprint is not acceptable. I've spoke with Dan and the manufacture owner Jerry in Australia with no help. It has a basic Hardware problem as we were told, that the bed moving gear is not properly registered. I can not spoke about IUV 600, but the IUV 1200 is definitely a Dud!

Can you tell whether the machine is badly designed or is it just a company support issue? If you had proper support do you think the machine would work fine?

@@PrintABC the machine breaks down in every way possible.
Our was shipped with a bad motor and circuit board.
In less than 1.5 years it has broken 10 times.
      Every pieces has failed.
The USB port, the software crashes, the chit board was faulty and loose, the motor didn’t work a lot of the time, the print head failed too...
The company wants you to pay for new pieces to a machine less than 6 months old that has already been failing.
