We are all hoping that one day they will release a song recorded with Ale on lead vocals. Ale is still using a 4 string bass in this video. She switched to a 5 string about 4 years ago.
This was The Warning opening for Stryper on 22 Feb 2020. First 3 songs of the opening power trio was sung by - 18 year old drummer (Dust to Dust) - 15 year old bassist (Red Hands Never Fade) - 20 year old guitarist (Ugh!) Unbelievable!!! Its extremely rare for a trio to have every member singing lead. Would love to know the thoughts of the Stryper fans present in that concert. Then 15 year old Ale went on to sing Hunter which you have reacted to. We must thank long standing member of The Warning Army, Erick Alderete, for recording The Warning over past 5 - 6 years. Without him and Miguel these shows would have been lost forever. And fans like me, from the other side of the world, wouldn't have been able to enjoy their shows vicariously. BTW Kathy & Ms. Donna need to find other adjectives for these girls 😂
The first time Ale sang in public, she did it to support Dany who was sick with her voice, but Ale doesn't really like to sing, she likes to play her instrument and the choirs.
@@Mathew_Fishwick811 Hunter is from the persoective of the character Death on the album. All the other songs on the album sung by Dany and Pau are from the queen's perspective. Dust to Dust and The End sung by Pau are the "good" side of the queen. Dany sings the "bad" side of the queen slowly getting more deranged through the album. Ale wasn't ready to sing lead when the album was recorded so Dany sings lead on Hunter instead.
Alejandra is very shy person. She has a amazing voice , she adds a beautiful layer of vocals to danys voice. Pauline does also but Alejandra voice compliments Dany voice
This banger was almost 4 years ago, when they opened for the Christian Rock Band Stryper. There is another performance she did of Hunter, at the Mercury Lounge in 2019, that was done up close in the front row. The video you chose was made by Erick Alderate, and he has been following them around Mexico, for many years now. His recordings of them have been top notch for a cell phone. Ale has also sung Red Hands Never Fade a few times.
I think Ale’s voice is very similar to Dany and when she’s doing lower harmonies sometimes it seems her mic level is low because her voice is so close it just seems to thicken Dany’s vocals. There are moments in More and Hell You Call A Dream where it’s just Ale doing backing vocals and you really get to hear her sultry tone but when she belts in her upper register? Watch out world! Great reactions!
Although Ale isn’t comfortable singing lead, she’s a team player and will do whatever is required for the show. Fun fact; Hunter was their mom’s favorite song of theirs at the time, not sure if that’s changed since the release of Error.
Love when Ale sings! She doesn't like to take lead, but she is a team player and makes her contribution with beautiful backing vocals and small lead parts (in Choke, and in Hell You Call a Dream). Not to mention, she plays amazing bass, switching between low end and melodic (and sometimes rhytm)
Great reaction! This is about the best quality performance with Ale' singing. Most you can't hear her. She has perfect pitch and it the human metronome (according to the 3 sister) so I would love to see her sing more.
Wow I did not know this version existed. I've only seen the version of Ale singing Hunter from 2023 in Toronto that wasn't as good quality. Ale on singing lead on Hunter really fits the story of the album. On the album Dany and Pau play the different sides of the queen. Hunter is from the perspective of Death. At the time the album was recorded Ale didn't have the singing ability seen in this video.
Hunter introduces a new character to the story, the Grim Reaper comes to take revenge against the queen for her doing his job. I wish they had used Ale as the lead singer on the album as the other roles were performed by Pau and Dany. It seems natural. But Ale has issues with singing lead vocals. She does it begrudgingly whenever Dany is sick and cannot perform (as happened here) but she has said she doesn't want to sing the lead on any song. Maybe she'll change her mind one day. But I think a lot of it has to do with her lacking to vocal training that her two sisters have. Also Ale has perfect pitch which helps playing her bass and (annoyingly) pointing out to her sisters when their instruments are out of tune. I think her lack of vocal training affects her ability to stay on pitch when she is singing and for someone who has perfect pitch that has to be a cringe moment, almost painful, even. So, if she wants to undergo the training necessary to be a lead vocalist, it may happen that she tasks a lead vocal or two int he future, but for now it doesn't look promising.
Ale was the perfect choice to be the Reaper. Sad that it did not happen. In the new songs released(pre-album)Ale's voice is being used a lot more. MORE was great. HYCAD is harder. And SICK is just........sick! I hope to see Ale taking lead parts, but time will tell.
This song is from Queen of the Murder Scene, so it's either late 2018 or 2019 or early 2020. She was so young! Like so many havea already said, it's rare for Ale to take the lead, so footage is thus far fan cam, but they're all gems. It's so amazing they have opened for huge legends at such very young ages!
Loved your reaction ladies! Always enjoy watching the looks on Kathy and Donna while Lulu is giving her “dramatic” sales pitch!! But Lulu is Lulu, right!!!!👏😊⚡️
ahh! you found a Winged Unircorn! this is when they opened for Stryper, an American Christian metal band from Orange County, California... Dany wasn't feeling well enough to sing so Ale took lead and let Dany rest her voice... *Hunter* introduces us to another (3rd?) character in the QOTMS rock novella... if you have followed the QOTMS album, we know about the Queen, her love interest, and her love interest's interests... this character is a much stronger and foreboding entity than those we have seen so far... the driving primal predatory bass line that Ale plays to move the song along is certainly a crowd favorite... punctuate that bass line with Pau's drums and yeah... fear and foreboding with spurts of hurried panic... in newer renditions of this song, they did a bit of a change in this song from the original... toward the end, Pau is doing the low voice saying "I'm coming back; There's no escape" instead of using a backing track like they have in the past... she repeats this phrase several times, getting louder each time, until she ends the run with one of her known screams "THERE'S NO ESCAPE!!!"... Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and this one in *Hunter* ... Fun Fact: Pau's home/practice drum setup has 14" and 16" floor toms... in concert she uses 16" and 18" floor toms... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Neat reaction. FWIW I know of one reactor who when they first saw 'ALE' they thought that The Warning was performing at a Beer Festival . . . I like Ale's voice, Pau has more a rasp to her voice and Dany's has more of a growl to hers, both very Rock n' Roll, but I find Ale's voice sweet and clear, and I loved the way she wasn't just singing the song, but performing it as well, adding a touch of drama to the vocals. As other posters have pointed Ale isn't really keen on singing lead vocals, but like a true pro she will step up to the plate when needed. She does sing lead on one of the chorus of 'Z' and on part of 'Choke' as well and these parts are very well received. It would be cool if she ever does sing lead on some other songs.
Ale has perfect pitch, which means she can hear a note and name it. She has trouble holding pitch when she sings, so she's the first one that knows she's not in tune. Practice could fix this, if she chose to work at it. It's possible that she just wants to focus on the bass.
Unfortunately Ale doesn't like to sing lead. Nowadays a perfect storm has to happen for her to sing lead. It happened a few times in 2023, but before that it was a long, long time since the last time. We might be in for a long wait until the next time.
Aloha All Y'all! Reading all the comments below...I still say that Ale needs to keep taking vocal training and keep that beautiful voice healthy and strong. Doesn't matter that she prefers not to sing lead...when called upon to do so, she really needs her voice to be in great shape! It's like going out on stage without tuning your bass!!! Oh, and that guy taking video on his phone, that's their dad, Luis!!!
I always enjoy the simple and down-to-earth approach in your videos. Genuine and sincere! A suggestion you may want to consider for your reactions.... The majority of your reactions are focused on the girls' musical talent, especially their voices. But what is missing and would make the reactions more intriguing are discussion of the lyrics! What makes the warning so special is not only their singing but also their ability to write very deep and meaningful songs. Perhaps discuss the lyrics during your reaction, and maybe review them in advance of your reaction so you will understand what the song is about. It gives you a deeper appreciation of what they do and also more interesting discussion with your viewers. Peace out.
Because of you guys, I'm thinking of buying their stuff on Amazon. They are good and fun and we all need a little of that these days. I dig it! Great reaction as per usual. Have a great weekend!!! 🍻🤟👏

Usually by about the first chorus Ale is in full voice and what a nice voice it is. The verses in Hunter are very low in Ale’s vocal range and as she gets older it seems her pitch is shifting higher even though she sings predominantly lower harmonies. To the best of my knowledge there’s only been 3 different song titles Ale has ever sung lead. The first being River’s Soul, the second being Red Hands Never Fade and finally on Hunter. It’s always seemed to me that when the song calls for just one backing vocalist that Pau handles that for the most part with Ale coming in as the 2nd backing vocalist when needed. On their 3 newest songs More, Sick and HYCAD it appears that Ale is the primary backing vocalist so that might indicate her willingness to sing a bit more?
And when she gets a little higher in scale it's really hard to tell voice from Dany's but I love her low tones sultry and smooth there parents always thought Ale would be the best singer but Dany and Pau are just workaholics and Ale being so laidback just let them and the pitch issues she hears when she's not in right key.

Ale does NOT like to sing lead, but I think her voice fits this song perfectly. Ale's voice is a little deeper, more sultry.
That was her Dad taking pictures of her.
Ale only sings lead when Dany's voice is tired or she is not feeling . She has no desire to sing lead but she will when needed to help her sisters
