Jose... Spanish Fly... Wejebe. Nice touch👍🏼🍻
Ahh man...
You made a Spanish Fly reference.
Sure miss that guy.
Thanks for the videos bro...
I am 50 this year. Most of my life I have had a rod in my hand. +30 years with a fly rod . Fished with lots of people in my life. You get it!! Love your videos. Please keep making them.
What’s funny is you can learn so much from these vids actually and have a good time with the humor 🤟🏼
“...before you stab them in the face!” LOL! Great wake me up ... thanks for these vids my man!!

Best line in this video!... lol line...
Lol...another HUGE one. The weird thing is I actually learn from these. Thank you 👍
That valley is off the hook
To ensure a good day of dry fly fishing, start by doing these three things. Squirt Aquel in your eye, snort a line of Top Ride and chug a PBR.
Mendeded? That made me chuckle!!
My biggest trout have all been caught under the water.
Dry Fly fishing isn’t about quantity but quality. Quality doesn’t always mean catching a bunch of fish. To each their own. I’d rather catch one good fish on a dry fly than catch a dozen by any other angling method. 💯
Another great video as usual. My favorite way to fish too!
Thanks
Butter and pearl!
Thanks for the dance.
Aerial mending- "fly line is already mendeded" Haha!
Love the visual reference
Most entertaing and educational videos around, good job!
Thanks for the great video
terrific. again
you are the best!!!
You had me at "summon them from the depths!" Does the time go by faster while you are yelling at the camera walking by yourself? You know, like when you fall asleep in a car and then wake up at your destination. Feels like it took no time at all!! 🤘 Can you do a video about chumming a trout stream, please? I've been told all the lunkers just love the chum. ¡Saludos!
... when learning is fun. Thanks!
I don't think I've seen a video on sight fishing (yet!). That would be helpful -- "Seeing fish". (Please?!)
Excellent idea. Thanks.
Wish I had more opportunities at dry fly fishing. I do fish dry/dropper set ups and 80% of the takes are sub-surface. It’s a lot of fun though when the trout come plumb out of the water to take a dry fly! Humpys and elk hair caddis most of the time here in the West.
My go to for the eastern Sierras and San Gabriels is a green mosquito, size 14 to 22, and then the elk hair size 12 to 18, with slightly orange-ish/brown colors(I don't tie). I've had some success with small Humpys and regular Adams, as well as gnats, but I suspect at those times any of the previous would have worked really.
Andy Fletcher Thanks for the tip on the green skeeter. I’ll be fishing the Eastern Sierra regularly starting in June. Maybe see you up that way.
@@farmerbob4554 Not likely LoL, I'm old and live in Oklahoma now. The best ones I got were at a fly shop in Mammoth Lakes, basically across the street from Schatt's Bakery. I highly recommend their Sheepherder's bread with real butter. The green was kind of subtle. and you want the hackles tight and proportional. My favorite spot was the San Joaquin around Devil's Post Pile, followed by Rush Creek on the June Lake Loop, and then lower Convict Creek. If you are coming up from LA, give Big Rock and Littlerock creeks a try. I left in 2001 but when you were away from the pressure spots they were great. I've seen recent vids with both creeks and the water still looks good. On Big Rock, downstream from the bridge almost into Pearblossom. For Littlerock, above the dam get on anywhere past the first campground after the creek crosses the roadway, and work your way upstream. Good luck to you, but especially on the San Joaquin, who cares if you catch anything...
Andy Fletcher Thnks for the tips Andy. I stay in Mammoth or Bishop and always get a supply of Schaats bread! I usually fish Bishop Creek below Cardinal Village and into Aspendell, Pine Creek and Lamarck Creek as well as North Lake and the upper Owens. I will definitely try the SanJoaquin. Awesome scenery in that area. I’m an old fart too but I still like hiking in the Sierra to fly fish! And I’ll get the mosquito pattern for sure!
Loled several times on this one, nice vid!
Dame I love Monday morning
What rod do you use for drys?
Good shit dude🤙
"Mendeded" nice.
Off topic question as someone moving from Maryland to CO in August: whenever I see someone out alone like this, all I can think about is how scared shitless I'd be of running into a brown bear. For those of you who live around the Rockies, is that just not a fear so long as you've got bear mace?
There are no brown bears in CO. Please bring me some Natty Boh.
@@HugeFlyFisherman ha! Well now I feel like a chucklehead. Mountain lions? (That’ll be two natty bohs now)
There are cats, but encounters are pretty rare. I’ve never seen one, but I’m extra careful when there are small humans with me. And I’ll take a bushel of jumbos, please.
Gonna go slap together a hopper and fish it until I catch one on it
Crickets and hoppers are killing it right now in MO.
My man
Dude...you kill me
Do you sell hats ? Love your channel
Coming soon. And thank you.
Love the channel. Say hi to my cousin Eric (MFG) out there.
