I remember watching this some time before San Andreas came out.
I remember because when I saw San Andreas in theaters, I vividly remember saying to myself they stole the idea about a tsunami crashing a ship into a bridge from Haeundae.
The tsunami at the first minute of the video was the Indian ocean tsunami happening on Christmas December 26, 2004
Thing is tsunamis aren't dangerous on open waters rogue waves are tsunamis don't form till shallow waters

At 1:16 it says he was responsible for many deaths for ordering fisherman to go to sea even though he received an evacuation notice of an coming tsunami. Wait, isn't going out to sea the safest place to be during a tsunami. They usually don't even feel it as it passes them by. It's the people that are on shore that are in the most danger.

The closest I've even been to your home town is Daharan, Saudi Arabia back in 1976. I see your concern with being so close to the Caspian Sea. Does it flood at times?
