Hey thanks for sharing this info. I just saw the 6 " Nessie a few days ago, i was going to see if the made them in a size smaller. I fish several lakes to me a d most if them have aome very good smallmouths. I think this 5 " will be great for them some just a little bit different. Wish they made the Mag draft in 5" with the aame hook ser up ad the 6" bait. Semper Fi from an old Marine
It’s a little bit of a challenge to figure out how to work it and keep it consistent to start with, but after that this thing is a unit! I probably had 40 fish hit my one Nessie yesterday. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the best hookup ratio. I think the hook keeper doesn’t release easily enough. I only caught 6
I'm hearing it wont sink much, I like the 5" size but the next one up sinks better from what I'm watching, I wanna get a few in bone and the shad colors.
Yeah. The raid okasana 170 is higher quality but it is a little more expensive and it’s a slow floating bait. Berkeley didn’t do as good of a job imo but it’s still very usable
@@asimatfishing9704its a straight rip off. No different from buying lures from AllieExpess that rip off American lures. It will never be as consistent or quality as orginal... but if price is king then sure pay less for less
@@goldstonk3206 I suppose it doesn’t matter, but it’s a giant company ripping off a let’s say ma and pop operation, which will get the recognition? It’s getting the bait to more people but I said what I said 🤷♂️
@@Ottersmilk 😂 at least they dont half ass it because its mass produced.. another stolen idea that cant be compared to the original maker ill spend the extra $10 to get the right action and reaction 😂and durability
That Nessie looks awesome!
Love the color pattern!

I’ve used that one but it doesn’t quite sink
glide baits dont sink lol
@@k0da203sure they do. They make glide baits in floating, slow sinking and fast sinking.
I just put a nail weight in mine

How do you work it? Seems the only way to work for me is very very small twitches.
I have trouble with this. Keeps floating , I let it sit and I watched it. Almost never drops
Use a nail weight
Yeah super light don't sink for nothing....needs some nail weights to get it down!!
😂 glide baits aren't supposed to sink
@@stephenbarabas6286 need to sink enough to get off the top of the water... I mean this thing was floating on its damn side
@@stephenbarabas6286 it depends on how you fish it. Why do you think they’re made in floating, slow sinking and fast sinking?

I have the 9 inch and I haven't used it yet
Haven’t grown the bigger ones yet. I used the 8 inch Cullshad last summer caught a 8.3 large mouth.
What color is this
Shad
Almost a full two minutes holding that fish.
Heard it has terrible action compare to the og grow design flag 170
Lol berkley stole the idea from japan only they made it stat underwater Berkley version can stay underwater 😂

The 5 inch is more of a swim bait than a glide.
Another stolen bait brought to by your friends at Berkley fishing lmao 😂
why does that matter, it don't bother me one bit

I'd rather spend 9 bucks then 40

Wow a lure design based off a lure design, not like every other company does the same thing ahdoyyy
5 inch got no action, don’t buy it lol
