St. Mary's Church ⛪️ in Barr near Lurganare in County Down

St. Mary's Church ⛪️ is a Roman Catholic Church located at in Barr near the village of Lurganare in County Down. It was built in 1830. it was dedicated by Dr. Blake on 21st. June 1835. It replaced an older church located on a site next to this church. This church was renovated in 1903 and 1969. Its interior was renovated after being damaged in a fire in 1995. Nine new stained glass windows were installed during the renovations in the 1990's. Repairs were carried out at this church in July 2023. It is one of two churches in Donaghmore Parish in the Diocese of Dromore.
