Holy... THANK YOU! Recently i bought Surface 3 PRO 4/128 for ~70$ described as "Touch not working". After receiving it i found out that only a part of screen is not responding, so at that point I was very happy. Thank to you whole screen is working 100% properly!! I felt like an idiot downloading a random exe file based on a referral from a year old youtube video with under 10k views, but hey, worst case scenario you've bricked a laptop I don't even use, right? For some reason it was refusing to unzip in my C drive but unzipped just fine when I downloaded it to my desktop instead. it took under a minute to run, and it worked! This is such a relief. Thank you!

I have a surface book 3 - with widows 11, dev channel, build 25231, my touch screen was not working on the bottom and top parts, now after installing this file it's a good a new, I can't believe it. Thanks a lot! You saved me 860 Euros. Searched everywhere in the internet used many different ways to fix my touchscreen - nothing worked for me but your fix!!! First i was afraid that your .exe file is corrupted - but it wasnt. everything works perfect now! Thanks !! Btw - If you used the windows calibration tool first then you have to RESET the calibration before (just open Windows Finger and Pen input settings - there is a reset button. Use this and after you did this use this .exe file. ) !! Had the problem over 3 months now and was very frustrated about microsoft and this tablet because it was expensive too and i didn´t use it alot in the past....

This worked for mine in 2019. I had a 2 inch wide section of my screen that didn't work. I knew there was a fix, but the old Sony site to download the driver was no longer active. I'm glad you shared this file.
OMg, thank you so much, I was nervous to download a random link from a website, but then I saw that I had somehow downloaded this already way back in 2018... and had never used it. Don't know how or why it ended up on my computer. In any case, I unzipped the file. And now my touchscreen works again. Thank you, thank you, everything with my Surface works great except my touch screen, and now I can use the device again for taking handwritten notes and sketches.
Wow solution .. thanks a lot ! I too searched the entire net and was about to give up! It was such an irritating issue and seen so many on net suffering with this issue like myself .
The .exe won't even run for me and I've tried downloading from multiple places. The command box flashes and then disappears instantly. I'm going to try resetting.
This genuinely worked! I ran the installer in administrator mode, just to be clear though I did not do a virus scan. For my purposes it didn't matter if it was a virus or not, so I didn't check. If you are reading this though you'll probably want to scan the exe and the files it generates with Malwarebytes or a similar anti-virus program. In my experiences after the program ran the entire screen stopped working, until I went into the bios menu and found out the entire screen was working. Then, when I booted into Windows everything was working great!
I had to do a small bypass in windows 11 but the file still worked April 2022. Curser/digitizer wouldn’t stop going crazy. Was about to order a new screen. Thank you so much.
@@thebreezer It has honestly been a little since I had it so I can't fully remember. But I had been prompted something and it reformatted the file for Windows 11. This was after I attempted to run it.

I remember when I first tried to run it, it gave me a prompt asking if I wanted to make it compatible with Windows 11 or something like that. I would make sure you have it in the correct folder and are running the correct application. Its possible it doesnt work anymore.

I have a SURFACE PRO 5 with a faulty touch that constantly made ghose touches (white bubbles on the screen or transparent squares). I didn´t want to lose the touch feature by disabling the driver (it was the only option). THIS WORKED LIKE MAGIC!!

Not a scam, not a virus works in 2022 on Surface Pro 3. I had partition of screen upper left not working and phantom touches... No issues anymore... Don't forget to opening files as admin, otherwise it get error.
it works!!!!!!!! this problem just came out of nowhere after i installed a screen protector, also noted my screen is coming our of the frame. i figured this was a long shot and that I had a issue with my screen but i ran this and it worked! pay attention to where it unzips, run the utility and it's done.
This is an incredible fix for my Surface Pro 3! I suffered for over a year with ghost touches and touchscreen unresponsiveness on the top of the screen under the camera! It drove me crazy as the pen and mouse worked up there but not the touch of my fingertips! Thank you so very much! I feel as though I have a brand new laptop!
