David, what do use to seal your canvas before you start painting??
I love the Heritage paints. Thanks. Linda
I give one coat of the Heritage Canvas Prep Medium. Dry, and sand with 180 grit sandpaper. That is it. For most of the smaller boards like the 30 days of roses etc. I use just one coat of Heritage paint. That is all you need. Heritage will seal the board when it is dry. All in one step.

Medium white is Titanium white with a touch of carbon black and hansa yellow.

Hi David, I love your painting. I know you like to use wooden boards, but if I want to use canvas, is it ok? What do you suggest, gesso it a few times? Thank you!
I don't use gesso as it makes the surface too smooth for what I do. You will also find yourself fighting the canvas weave when trying to add flower details. You will need to fill that up first.
