A wise man once told me a man only needs two material things: a good bed and a good pair of shoes. Because you're going to spend half your life in one and half your life in the other.
Just never forget that no matter what happens always remember where are you come from I saw many people when they become rich they forget how poor once they were so they end up spending all their money and become poor again
Getting rid of things you don't need and learning to use what you already have instead of wasting money is a sign of maturity. In my own experience decluttering your physical space is more of an emotional cleanse.
Absolutely spot on! Definitely an emotional cleanse. I'm almost 63 and the things I've held onto are neutral now so I am also de cluttering! Take Care!
I have never wanted to buy a ton of clothes. My mom has three closets and I always rebelled against it. I've always sticked to quality. I do know other women like me so I know that any woman that wants to, CAN do it! It's not stuck in our genes :-)

Years ago I adopted my own “uniform” for work and one for my personal time. It’s become my brand. No decisions and I always look put together. I often ask folks this - does anyone care that Batman always shows up in his bat uniform? No. It’s truly that simple.
Your idea is a great one. I can see many benefits including of course saving time. You can put the money that you do not spend into a real investment instead of buying large varieties of clothing to suit so many different places we can go in life. Also, you might actually be turning your appearance into an icon of YOU. In this way, whatever you represent in life, gets communicated through your appearance -- your physical presence and your attire. Batman and his uniform, in the cartoon, communicated security and justice, for example.
I also feel that when someone is wearing plain clothes, such as the plain T shirt Ronald has on in the video I focus on the speakers face. If someone has a highly patterned top and / or jewellery my eye is drawn to the design or jewellery.
@@eannane8712 no it's not, I was a minimalist before I graduated in 93. I remained a minimalist until I was twenty eight, then I fell into the insane idea that more was better and it elevated my status when I started dating this girl. I recently went back to being debt free and having a few things, I haven't been this happy in a long time.
@@tranger4579 right. 93 wouldn't be a trend anymore. Trends are 5 year buzzwords people like to describe themselves as. Vegan, eco-friendly, minimalist, etc.
We do not have a basement with our rental apartment, so we have a storage wall in the living room we recently decluttered. We put curtains in front of the storage wall. It can be a pretty solution :)
Not only from stuff, but it can also be people, intangible items you can’t see. To simply add value you your life. Being a minimalist isn’t meant for you to deprive yourself of things. One pair of shoes, living in a van, traveling... isn’t a minimalist. You can have thousands of books and still be a minimalist. If it adds value to your life, it makes you happy. It’s simply tossing anything that doesn’t add value to your life away.
Latisha Daniels I feel like I am a minimalist at heart but have been raised in an environment of consumerism and collectivism. I no longer buy video games (stopped doing it in 2014), don’t buy trendy items for vanity, is focused on form and fitness over flashy updates, BUT I still have to get my closet uncluttered (too many shoes and clothing items that I hardly ever wear).
They call you CHEAP but never frugal! Nothing wrong with having your own mind, thats when you wake up and see all these ppl you really thought had it all together but now you know they're a wreck! Just be ready for the shallow ppl comments who wants you to be a hater of them for what they have and their not happy. Reminds me of the parent spending big money on they kid Jordans but their kid in school wanting the much cheaper light up shoes or Batman shoe!
I no longer buy chemical cleaning supplies. I make my own. I don’t buy expensive makeup. I keep it simple. I deleted many apps off my phone as well as unsubscribed to many stores on email. I am working on a capsule wardrobe and having fun with that. I love decorating my house for seasons and set a goal for one container per season and two for Christmas.
That’s a great goal for your seasonal decorations! My girlfriend and I also slowly looking into more natural cleaning products. It’s a fun experience for sure!
It’s great to see a young, good looking guy becoming a minimalist,an example to us all that we can stop being so materialistic and stop buying trendy stuff.
It is great to see young people being less materialistic in-spite of huge social pressures to do the opposite. I was fortunate in that my family experienced rationing and poverty,so I was taught all kinds of thrifty ideas which I have tried to pass on to my children.
This life is freeing once you get use to it. I've decluttered my life a while ago due to limited funds honestly and its changed my life. Now my money goes to what matters!
Cycles you’re right. Also a lot of families express love by buying too. My family wasn’t the affectionate and supportive type, they bought you things cause they “loved you”. As a grown up once you get everything you wanted on your list because this whole time you’ve been trying to give yourself “love” and you’re still not happy it’s a huge wake up/ mental death. Your mind no longer has a goal because it was a lie and you have to search to find what happiness really is. People like to make us think we need things we don’t to be happy but it’s really to take advantage of us so they can get rich off of us. It also creates more trash in the environment. You live and learn but the best thing you can do is share your experience with others. It might help open their eyes without experiencing all the pain.
I was telling my wife that 91/2 years ago and when she never really needing much prepared our meals/ lunches, simple dress, no television, only reading and restaurants restraints my kids haven't been ill by us being this lifestyle
That is called minimalist training. Wealth is health so your not poor because you lack physical possessions. Generally the more one earns the more one spends which means earning never really satisfies your needs to get ahead. One needs to earn more and spend less to get ahead financially speaking.
Wow you the first black minimalist I've seen on UA-cam! This is awesome keep it up. I'm not the only one. Lol I follow other minimalists too but it's nice to see familiarity. When I became a minimalist about two years ago and started donating and throwing away my things I didn't value. Friends and family thought I was nuts. Thought I was planning something. Lol one of the last things I let go was my TV and Xbox too. I can see myself in your story. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏿✌🏿
Hey welcome to the community tamika! I’m really happy that you can connect and see yourself in my story. That’s awesome! I’m still growing and learning a lot on my journey.. and I’m excited about what’s to come. Keep growing and learning on your journey as well!
Listening to you again. Went next door to the dollar store, and I got off track looking at home decor. I said self you don't need that just to give away to someone whether they deserve it or not. Purchased my needed items and came home in freedom lol.
Patricia King, that sounds like me. I have bought so much stuff in my lifetime. Now I'm able to look at something and say, I can appreciate that without having to own it. It's a wonderful feeling. Best wishes!
You forgot getting rid of people who causes you to buy stuff and those people who cause chaos in your life resulting undo stress which results in anxiety triggering eating junk food.
I just found your videos and I have been addicted to buying since I was in my late teen / early twenties so at least 30 years now off and on . Your videos are so inspiring and helpful. I want to change my habits and as I get older , I don't have the time or energy to fight with clutter .I don't completely stay put of stores as I had to buy some clothing for my daughter who lives with me .But I have actually walked out of marshalls with out buying a thing for myself! I'm proud of myself , this journey won't be easy .But I'm on a no buy since may/2019 .
@@tammieparrishmiller3669 I wish you luck .Going through my closet for the 3rd time this year .Many clothing items I've had for years .I give to charity or sell to a resale store .I actually found things i thought I'd never could live with out .
Minimalism lets YOU show through! Because you don’t need any props - you’re awesomely attractive and glowing just the way you are. Simplicity is powerfuL!
ELISABETH M simplicity is very powerful, you’re absolutely right! Minimalism is about embarrassing you. The real you, because you no longer have the abundance of stuff to hide behind!
I don't think It's a waste of time if it's used to expand your awareness, curiosity, knowledge, understanding, skills, any and all things beneficial to life. It's an amazing free resource with tons upon tons of useful information that can be applied to an infinite variety of life situations. You can teach yourself practically anything. All you need do is just type. It's an ALMOST INFINITE FREE LIBRARY OF INFORMATION FAR SURPASSING ANY UNIVERSITY AS FAR AS ITS ABILITY TO EDUCATE AND INFLUENCE MILLIONS OR BILLIONS SIMULTANEOUSLY. NO SINGLE UNIVERSITY OR EVEN COMBINATION OF HUNDREDS IS MORE "POTENTIALLY" POWERFUL. It's so powerful and utilitarian there is definitely going to be far more competition in the video content sharing sector and this is only going to make UA-cam better and all the others.
Mission Control but as a minimalist He no longer pays for deductible therefore no routine checkups or any flossing. Instead he finds fishing lines stuck to rocks and uses them instead as a minimalist.
I haven’t had cable in 3 years and credit cards in over 20 years. If my cash can’t buy it , I don’t need it. I eat out only when invited for someone’s celebration and I limit that to 2/3 times a year, and it will be an appetizer. It’s refreshing to see others watching what they spend their money on. Thanks for sharing!
they're status symbols, a lot of people who grew up poor and come up on some funds want to show others that they're not so poor anymore, cos let's face it there's nothing fashionable about dressing like everybody else on Instagram
Man after my own heart. I’ve made the exact same changes. I make decent money but I try to reserve it for memorable activities, vacations, and charity, and time with loved ones.
Stopped using makeup and I can't go back. Several years ago redid the garden in my yard with perennials native to my state and it brings me much happiness
I sew and knit all my clothes. They fit me perfectly and I treat them gently. They will last a long time. I subscribe to bookbub for free books or use the library. I rely on mass transit so no worries about insurance or repairs on a vehicle. Cable has been gone for years. I get 32 channels with my antenna.
@Emma Watson / That's half a thumbs up. Because i "don't wear makeup," but sometimes i do. Nothing wrong with a woman feeling good about herself by accenting her features with a little color, cover up or correction. A study was done that said a woman is taken more seriously in business and professional settings if she wears makeup. It has its place, and can play an integral part in a woman's self esteem, and thus her life. Makeup is only a problem when it becomes a crutch or an excessive expense. And then again on the other hand there's something to be said for a woman beautiful or bold enough to go barefaced. Wearing no or little makeup is very freeing. And wearing a little makeup fine too. I love my makeup and cosmetics. But i keep it to a minimum.
We downsized from 2 floors, 3 bedrooms to a 1 bedroom 650 square ft place. It was a journey and has been rewarding. Got rid of a dozen huge bags of clothing. Its amazing how little you actually need to live. Life is much simpler & way more organized.
a funny story....I told my son, "son, we are now minimalist." He said we are already minimalist. Its called being poor....lol I guess you had to be there....great channel btw....new subbie!
I'm 5 out of 8 of these. The three I still do are: Decorating (that's my wife doing), gaming and credit cards. I have taken advantage of the credit cards for the past few years, made cash back and pay it all back before it's due. Gaming has ALWAYS been my favorite past time. I'd rather do that than go to the club spending a couple hundred bucks.
I feel like both minimalists and materialists have the same problem - they overthink what they own. A lot of people don't think about this stuff, and are perfectly happy. Minimalists and materialists have a way of tying what they own to their self worth. A materialist stresses if they own too little, and a minimalist stresses if they own too much.
@@wizmanballin8498 While I do see where you're coming from, I think being (or trying to be) a minimalist is something people should aim to do. I'm not a minimalist or anything but I want to try to be one, once I have everything figured out and have more structure in my life. Trying to be a minimalist helps you detach yourself from the consumerism which is one of the most common issues faced in today's society and prepares you for scenarios where you are forced to live with less. I don't think people stress out when they have more money than than can spend, however, people get worried when they don't have enough money to pay for the unnecessary things in their life. Just my 2c.
I'm a musician and I was owning a tone of music related stuff. When I started my ''minimalism journey'', I figured that with all those amps and effects pedals, I was spending more times ''trying to find that tone'' than actually playing my guitar. Sold pretty much everything except one amp and a delay. Since then I've been more creative than ever and it feels good not hauling around stuff that I'm not using! Just found your channel; great stuff!
A friend of mine recently retired and moved from PA to FL. She bought a house, went home and proceeded to get rid of everything she didn't need. She came to FL with three carloads of personal items, period. She bought a small, comfortable home with a poil and spends her time relaxing instead of cleaning and taking care of her "stuff". I've known her for over 40 years and she has risen to the top of my hero's list! Love youe videos!
Ok now idk if paper towels I can give up🤦🏾♀️ lol there so easy to use an very convenient to use versatile on everything an the less I have to wash lol 😆 I guess I can be like the salon an just have a basket of dollar towels an use them an wash separate but that’s an extra load to wash 🤦🏾♀️ umm I gotta think about that one some more but thanks for sharing your tips🙋🏽♀️
I drink more water I eat less sugar I try not to buy a lot of food that I know will go to waste because I'm more on a natural run I don't eat alot of me I do eat some and I delete a little fish but there's a lot of things that I let go I buy clothes when needed anything that I buy is when needed I do enjoy soda sometime but it's not a thing that I do always potato chips now I buy popcorn and I pop it myself and I enjoy it but there is a whole lot of things that we as human beings have to realize that we don't need something I do get a subscription of a magazine thing that I enjoy and I keep them and then sometime I want to enjoy something to read I'll look back on some articles that I didn't read I have books like cookbooks and books on information that I would like to know about dictionary Bible things like that but I don't exactly by a whole lot of things I don't have a credit card I buy mostly by cash and I'm very happy very happy I thought that I would miss some things I am going to purge much more because I'm getting ready to move and I think the apartment that I will be moving to will be a little smaller than what I have so you know I really am going to cut down on a lot of things and the things that I have in my house or apartment or ready I'm going to use them weather I painted up for scrubbing down or whatever I'm going to find ways to move to use them when I move if I can use them that I will give them away all the set them out for somebody to take
Good for you. I had been living that way for years... And then got married and had a beautiful daughter with my beautiful wife, and they have stuff... Lots of stuff. Great video. Keep up the good work.👍
Just got rid of cable TV. Have a smart TV that provides free channel content and movies. No cable has equated to more time for reading, exercise and other activities. Great video by the way/
Bravo young man, your approach to a minimalistic lifestyle will yield you great satisfaction. I too am pursuing a similar lifestyle. Although I’m now retired I look at my home and possessions and realize the stuff doesn’t bring joy and carrying such stuff is an unnecessary burden. Less is truly best.
I always find websites that posts all the tv shows 1 minute after its aired. Internet is all I need. People are shocked that I always find these sites..Cable is a heck no..
Yudo NeidaNo maybe so they don’t have to have smart antennas in there house. Look into what they will be used for once 5 g is here and the binary weapons already in your system start sending date back to h@@rp facility’s. Eventually taking over your thinking. Wake up and see we are entering the depoupalization phase. And all these smart devices make up part of the system.
You’re so smart, practical and organized person. You’re absolutely right about trendy and unnecessary things is just a waste of money. Your ideas and advice inspire people and help individuals to save money and be a better person. 😊🙏
Being a minimalist is such a healthy lifestyle. Your room is cleaner and your mind is clearer. Sometimes your diet changes too. I started eating healthier when I became a minimalist. I also started working out more and watched less TV. It’s just a more chill way of living.
This is crazyyyyyyy, Ronald. Lol. Seriously. I. GET. IT. The similarities that we share on our journey are just mind blowing. I’ve watched tons of minimalist videos, and no one has been this “spot on” with shared values, as you! This is exciting. Totally the sign that I prayed for (to continue on the journey). Fun fact and cool story: I used to own 228 pairs of heels (and I’d always use the saying, “and counting”). And THEN I had over 50 different pairs of sandals and closed-toed shoes. I now own 5 pair of shoes, total. 😇 Yes, 5! Lol! Happy Sunday, Buddy!
That’s amazing Cassi, wow! That’s a big change and I really happy to hear that you’re journey is going so well. Plus knowing that we have similarities is going to make your connect to my content more real. Keep growing, I love it!
Agree with everything except the credit cards. Many credit cards are free w/ 1-5% cash back on things you would normally buy anyways, but yes, you just need to be careful to be able to pay your entire balance each month.
Mine is 2.5% cash back on everything. I treat it like a credit card by paying it off once a week. The trick is the budget must determine spending, not the credit card.
I don't know you but I'm happy for you, glad to have neen brought to your videos. Clearly, a sign of growth and self awareness. I too, live a minimalist lifestyle and certainly don't keep up with the Jones'. There are lots of spiritual lessons from it all. Thank you for sharing sensible, worthy content.
wow dude, I too am sick of all the BS that says we have to keep up with everyone, totally tired of that bs. Im starting down the minimalist path (unknowlingly about 3-4 years ago ) but now im really doin it, im gonna start getin rid of the crap I don't need in my life and I think I will be much happier. You have a great personality and great to watch man, totally SUbbed! Minimilizm in this day and age is soo important
Great video! My favorite souvenir to buy are high end post cards from the place I'm visiting: these cards often have very high quality photos on them better than I could capture myself. I love these and they are good because I can note memories and dates on the backs of them before I stick them in my album💖💕
Thank you for this! I like the stuff from the cubes going. I am learning that empty spaces are fine, and no need to fill them with stuff just to fill them.
Yup. These minimalist lists should be called Poor People Wisdom. My parents didn't have a credit card until I was in college and only because it became impossible to rent a house without a credit score. #allcashchildhood
I m in the same process of minimalism! I m trying and I see it is easier now due to the financial crisis ! Impulse shopping is not my style anymore! Well done!
Yes......this is almost comical....definitely makes me smile...so happy for you......I am nearly sixty and I do not have to cut out the things on your list... cause I never started with them..( raised on hard work in South) .wasting anything was a sin when folks in need all over.......I wear lip gloss and mascara and I do my own hair. ....so makeup and hairdresser were never in either. ... I learned pole fitness so I could teach the $30 classes I fell in love with in my thirties part time . Also I no longer have to work a day job because I INVESTED the $2200 a month my friends family and colleagues were burning on frivolity n fun . All my boys clothe were TJX clearance. Fam called me ESsie for a female Ebenezer Scrooge.....but they r climbing on board now that I have freedoms they long for.... One thing tho.....I have and use credit cards for travel perks. You travel n clearly have the discipline they require to pay bills with them and pay entire monthly balance. I believe ALL should use credit cards like debit cards.... pay every WEEK to zero. Watch your credit score skyrocket....and insurance rates plummet. Keep up great work! TFS.
On "branded" clothing, personally, my body's expensive real estate. If I ever wear someone's brand name in a place you can see it, they are going to pay me -- not the other way around!
So relatable! I too have the 6s and I have been contemplating upgrading. Your video reinforced the fact that I really do not need the latest and greatest cell phone.
This video should be titled: "Things people generally stop doing after they turn 30" The credit card thing is on point though, and that's the usually the trap that keeps people in a financial rut.
Richard Vargus He’s saying if you don’t carry a balance then the perks that come with the card (including points) are essentially free. And he’s right by the way. Using credit responsibly has incredible short and long term perks you won’t get from just using cash or debit cards. You just have to have the discipline to not spend more than you have with them.
@@hitch4645 for every hundred dollars you spend on the card they give you a dollar back. Wooohoooooooo big perk. What you dont see is theyre selling your data to the highest bidder giving out your address and phone number etc....really sounds worth it man. Ever had your credit card numbers stolen? Huge fucking hassle
OMGosh... EVERYTHING you mentioned I am doing!!!! I'm 64 years old and I have not had a 'credit card' since 1992... (long story). Went years without a TV even... The last time I bought a TV was 1998... My room is still a little cluttered more than yours, because I am going through what I owned when I had an antique store... I don't even own an IPhone, but wished I did.. (saving up money for that)... my car is a 1995 Cadillac... which I do need to buy a newer car... (maybe)... Great video... Thank you for sharing.
Love it! Since I started going back to eating healthy whole food, I have dropped about 35 pounds and got rid of all those too big clothes. I did buy new clothes, but went to my favorite discount stores and made out well. I am using a 'save up for' system which I will make the necessary purchases related to keeping healthy etc. Although I love books and own quite a few, I often get them second hand at a deep discount or the library, which I donate the read books too. Friends and family like to give me gifts because they think I 'need' the item or would like it but I prefer if they would ask first because often a much simpler, less expensive item works better, like a jar of rubber cement for my art work has more value and gets more use. When you mentioned the last tv you purchased was 1998, I have to take 30 years from that date. My first and only tv ever purchased was 1970-ish which is long gone. I saved the receipt for memrobelia. You know it was the first 'major purchase' upon moving out of Mama's house. What a laugh. I never purchased another tv even though people gave me many because they felt I 'needed' one - go figure. I do listen to UA-cam for music, health info, how to stuff, technology operation etc. I have a cable line for my land line phone (yes, I still have one, it saved me in the blackout) and the internet. My cell is new because my 3 year old LG4 bricked. I would have used that phone until the L fell off of it. -lol. A friend gave me an old LG 3 which I used for months while I saved up and did my homework for a new phone. No, I don't own a microwave, food processor, a lot of kitchen gadgets or electronics and yet people like coming to my house for socialization on an invitation by invitation basis. About once or twice a month I have game night with 3 - 4 other folks, we play box games and it is fun and laughter the whole time. I cook something simple and we play. I go to these friend's house once a month and we have movie night. We've given our homes names for those nights, mine is "The Pass Out" (my guest eat the delicious food, then get on the couch and fall asleep. Lol) My friend's house is called "The Showplace" (they have Netflix, Firestick and hundreds of DVDs. The fun is equally good there. Anyway, let me go, have some frame & mat work to do, just wanted to say I agree with you and life is so very good when you get the clutter out the way so you can be free to really enjoy your own company.😁 All the best to you.
Pam: i got rid of my TV about 2 and a half years ago. My microwave finally gave out a few months later and I never replaced it. I do need a vacuum cleaner though. This sweeping with a broom is getting tiresome. (Wood floors in a small apt.) I wanted to ask you about the rubber cement. I was thinking of using that to glue the brown strong package wrapping paper to the back of my paintings to finish them off. Do you think that would be fine ? Curious to know what you use it for.
@@Decopainterandtea using rubber cement to adhere brown paper on the back of a painting is fine. Go all the way around so it is fully sealed, cover all the staples holding the stretched canvas. Then drill the holes for the life-eye screws or other flat picture screws for the wire, which should be 1/3 of the way down from the top edge. For example, if the frame is 12" high, divide 3 into 12 and the life-eye screw should be 4" down from top edge. If the screw is already set, take it out. Lay the paper over the hole, mark it with a pencil (you can feel it), rubber cement the paper in place all around. Replace the screw and wire. Let dry flat for a couple of days. Hang when ready. All the best. PS. Also check UA-cam for visual instruction clarity.
Thank you for getting right to the point. I sympathize with the souvenirs. I love to travel and have learned that I don't need to bring back another backpack full of stuff that always ends up in storage or the trash. Awesome video.

Years ago I adopted my own “uniform” for work and one for my personal time. It’s become my brand. No decisions and I always look put together. I often ask folks this - does anyone care that Batman always shows up in his bat uniform? No. It’s truly that simple.
I really like that! You have a good point. Thanks for sharing!
Now I wish you could have posted a photo of it. I bet I would like them.
Minimalist Gangster You do know that Batman is a fictitious character, right? Cheers. Great example. :-)
Being a minimalist is the way to go... We came with nothing and will leave with nothing.. Pointless collecting all the clutter.

I feel like the world conditions our mind to think we need stuff to gain happiness and se we spend our lives chasing that.
Cycles definitely, we got scammed
That’s exactly how it works. They want people to spend before they save/invest, and be slaves to material things

@Emma Watson /
That's half a thumbs up.
Emma Watson I bet you’re beautiful. Being bold enough to have never worn makeup, is actually beautiful within itself, to me👍

You’re correct about that!
I feel like both minimalists and materialists have the same problem - they overthink what they own. A lot of people don't think about this stuff, and are perfectly happy. Minimalists and materialists have a way of tying what they own to their self worth. A materialist stresses if they own too little, and a minimalist stresses if they own too much.
good way of seeing it. I like things, but I also have no problem giving things up. I do it all the time.
@@wizmanballin8498 While I do see where you're coming from, I think being (or trying to be) a minimalist is something people should aim to do. Trying to be a minimalist helps you detach yourself from the consumerism which is one of the most common issues faced in today's society and prepares you for scenarios where you are forced to live with less. steeve steeve i haven’t watched tv is years (other than when I at family events). I honestly don’t miss it!
Exactly! It was hard to let go of those items and seeing empty is an adjustment!
😂
I love how photos are something that brings more values to your memories than an item from a place you’ve visited
You are a free man. I didn't know that I am a minimalist until I watched this, I just want to live simply.
Subbed.
Mark Andrew Bayot welcome to the community I’m glad you enjoyed this!
Wow, I been a minimalist for years and I thought was because I was broke. 😆 lol
me too : i don't even own an automobile
Lol
Me too haha I've been wearing the same shoes for years, same phone or am just probably broke 😂
hahahahaha
Well done!
Declutter your space, declutter your mind. Love it! You're an inspiration!
TFS.
PoleGem you a true one in a world full of fakes, fake assess, lips and brainwashed to thinking they got to climb to the top of the hill.
On "branded" clothing, personally, my body's expensive real estate. If I ever wear someone's brand name in a place you can see it, they are going to pay me -- not the other way around!
I say this all the time! Only dummys are free billboards for the rich.
Truth. I never wear brands, logos or tags. And don't buy them- ever!!!
Ronald...great points. You are so special. Wise beyond your years.
Continue to bless and be blessed.
Thank you Kim! I really appreciate the love and support! Keep growing on your journey!
So relatable! I too have the 6s and I have been contemplating upgrading. Your video reinforced the fact that I really do not need the latest and greatest cell phone.
You get noticed more when you're different and being yourself. I love standing out lol.
You should always “stay true to you” that’s exactly why I say it at the end of every video! Be you and love that person!
This video should be titled:
"Things people generally stop doing after they turn 30"
The credit card thing is on point though, and that's the usually the trap that keeps people in a financial rut.
Don't carry a balance? Then, it's free money (points, % off to sign up).
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 no its not free money.
@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 Free money? Wtf? Yeah, maybe if you don't pay the bill, lol.
My room is still a little cluttered more than yours, because I am going through what
I owned when I had an antique store...
Anyway, let me go, have some frame & mat work to do, just wanted to say I agree with you and life is so very good when you get the clutter out the way so you can be free to really enjoy your own company.😁
All the best to you.

Thank you Pam... I agree...
@@SUNROSE7878 Thanks so much for the helpful detailed response!
Thank you for getting right to the point. I sympathize with the souvenirs. I love to travel and have learned that I don't need to bring back another backpack full of stuff that always ends up in storage or the trash. Awesome video.
