Alright so what’s my shit worth? Recently got a good deal on a 93 hatch completely bone stock 5 speed. Was stored because it had a bad gasket, by the PO of 18 years. (Replaced the head gasket now though) Base model, 5 speed, 220k, paint is shit not a single spec of rust though, interior is clean with the exception of cracked dash, AC even works. Trying to decide if I wanna keep it or cash out and maybe get an s14.
Impossible to say without seeing it, but it feels like the floor on a dentless, running, rust free 240SX is about ten grand now. Get Maaco and get $15k
I bought mine which was kinda like the one around the 5 Minute Mark (A Rank), minus the Framerail-Rust, for 6700 Euro with new Exhaust and registration/ TÜV in Germany in 2019. But German ones are like early 180SXSs: CA18DET. I dont know if this is comparable to the US Market. S13 are way rarer in Europe I guess. I drove it for 2 years and it now gets restored and painted, which means some more thousands of Euros in Labour and Parts, just for the Shell.
Netgear tryina say that a guy can make money on that repainted SR20 redtop that may or may not run, he be slurpin up the copium sayin that, and he's not even buying it
out here old lady S Chassis hunting lol. Can't say i mind mods and kits, alot of these were cringe for sure though. Nothing really popped up as a deal to make good money on, just things to beat on imo.

I found a S13 for sale in Grand Rapids, Michigan for fucking $30k just because it had a RB25 engine swap and real TR37 wheels along with a box full of old turbos. The whole car was full of rust and it had one pop up headlight, the other headlight was a small LED light that was bolted in. It was a real piece of shit car. If I was to buy that car ( I wouldn’t actually ) I would just give him $5k for the RB25 engine and TR37 wheels
@@CollectorCarFeed i mean obviously it would be out of place on a collector car, but in a more general sense i think most people in the community would agree that it isn’t “gross”. it’s really neutral if anything. it’s such a staple in drifting that it’s just weird to see that anyone has such a severe reaction to it.

But i get a car for spirited driving and enjoy it I don't care about resale value I'm here for fun I remember on nori yaros video there was a guy drifting a mint takumi inspired ae86 and they said to him don't you feel bad for drifting it because it's so clean and he said "cars are meant to be driven they're not museum pieces" I 100 percent agree
