Yo man! This is it - it's definitely the Gretsch to have! I'll write it on my shopping list. I love you Duane, congratulations for being back in business! Greetings and good luck from Harry Davidson
Duane and my dad, Mike McGuire of Valley Arts Guitar, became great friends years and years ago. Duane gifted my dad one of his blonde Gretsch beauties. Such an honor to have this in my family! I'm not able to share a picture, these comments won't let me add one.
Does it have trestle-bracing ? I seem to be a minority in preferring minimal “indoors” stuff. I ask you if yours has a single sound-post connecting the top and back because of the year you stated (1997, yah ?) The Eddie Cochran signature model is totally empty inside (at least, according to my research). Perhaps I’ll email Joe Carducci to ask what choices I have. 🤔
@pedrogoldfinger Fender does the development and distribution for Gretsch anyway, so they won't be losing customers over that... (technically, Fred Gretsch III still owns Gretsch)
The tweed amp(champ?) is there for looks but it's a terrible choice for a Gretch hollow as the massive bass just rattles that little box. He's plugged into something bigger down below there. Mine sounds good through a Blues Jr.
Changing strings on a Bigsby isn't hard, all you need is a capo to hold the strings in place as you insert the string to wind it... 'though his story was cool...
Marco Zucchi - tunamatic bridge don’t sustain as much as this truArc bridge. I believe the reason is that the contact area bet. The strings & the bridge is bigger on the truArc bridge. I have both bridges and I’ve tried them.
WHAT A TRULY WONDERFUL MUSICIAN DUANE IS.
UNIQUE & ALWAYS PRODUCES INCREDIBLE SOUNDS.
LONG LIVE THIS MAN,WITH THIS GREAT TALENT.
WELL DONE
Duane Eddy, The Boss of Guitars, The king of Twangy Guitar! Glad He has a guitar that sound like the oldies! (original)
...Yowser! What a legend. Always loved Duane's work. Especially with Art of Noise back in '88, too. :-)
Mr.Eddy. Simply a legend.. thanks
ha ha how many of us watching this video have got into a guitar shop to not really buy a guitar.Ten minutes later you walk out with one.

Duane Eddy is my all time favorite guitar play along with Gene and Dick Dale. Love my Duane Eddy signature Gretsch so much
The song is called Rebel Rouser. Really easy song to learn, classic Duane Eddy.
That dark amber orange finish looks great on photos.
What a beauty!!
A true master
I'm a hopeless Les Paul guy but I wouldn't mind having one of these.
Duane Eddy tu es une légende.Ce son t'appartient à tout jamais.
The man knows his guitars.
I want one !
Duane Eddy died 30 April 2024, sadly. A real nice player with those beautiful Gretchs. He did use other makes, but the Gretch has the sound.
Anyone check out the compensated nut?
I own one of these, the best guitar I've ever played.
He is playing a few notes from "the Ballad of Paladin"
Rebel Rouser?
Ziggy’s is still in business, can you believe that?
Longer pins are a good idea for restringing Duane, but a StringRay Tool makes it even better! Guaranteed!
Brilliant
excellent design by Duane Eddy to sound exactly like the original 1957 model, only with better modern 'tried and true' design elements !!!
Didn't Gibson have a Duane Eddy model? Is that still available?
Is that tru-arc aluminum or stainless ?
What ´s the make and model of amplifier That Duene Eddy used with his Gretsch G6120DE
Super cool guy.
Yes, such a pleasant, gentlemanly man.
Baritone Guitar!!!!!
Hol lehet ilyen gitárt venni????

Mis respetos
How do you keep it from feeding back?
DMW1949 you can buy rubber or foam covers for the F holes. Forgot who makes them, lol.
have a semi hallow body and will never have the bucks for this but one can always hope
@tomnanD3 love mine!!
what's he playing at the end?
Rebel Rouser from 1958 hit!
The tweed amp(champ?) is there for looks but it's a terrible choice for a Gretch hollow as the massive bass just rattles that little box. He's plugged into something bigger down below there. Mine sounds good through a Blues Jr.
Wait that's a baritone right?
Poison Ivy deserves a signature model. She is the absolute Queen of Psychobilly & has carried the Gretsch flag forever.

Only his biggest hit,Rebel Rouser.
This ams granpas guitars.
It called Raunchy
Not in this video! Ballad of Paladin,& then Rebel Rouser!!!
I thot he was a Guild player... oh well....
He might be a nice bloke but he much kop
Lovelu guitar... but I would prefere it with a Tune-o-matic bridge.
