- Here is part 2 I hope you enjoy it! I made a couple sub optimal moves, but I still think we are on track, we just need to ensure Volkare doesn't reveal that final tile!
Should I take one more turn this round, or just end it?

Only 01:50 in but just wanted to say, love your playthroughs. Very helpful and entertaining. Your "This War of Mine" another that comes to mind. I just got Mage Knight out after a long lay off. I think there can't be anyone that would play it without making some mistakes. I just finished Solo Conquest and made loads. Thanks again for your work, now back to watching this.
Definitely take another turn. If you declare end of round right now, you would not be able to use the bonus from the Magical Glade to remove your wound in the discard pile.
Agreed one more turn I think is the best, just hoping Volkare doesn't reveal that last tile!
Tactic card: great start! ; definitely grab that crystal with the powered AA, also, for the combat, you also could’ve used the red die from the source to power up rage for 4 attack and swift sideways for a total of attack 5, saving that white crystal... crystals is the name of the game here... :)

At 23:55 when you re-rolled both dice I was thinking in my head how funny / unlucky it would be if you re-rolled into 2 gold die... then it happened. Had quite the laugh so thought I'd share :)

I think its worth counting the cards in Volkare's deck. You should be aiming for 7 turns per round max, to avoid him running out of cards by the time he attacks the city. If you played more than 14 cards from Volkare's deck just declare end of round now, you will have more effective turns in the new round. Unlike Solo Conquest your time limit is total turns played over all rounds so you havent got the luxury to play as slow as you would normally.
YES I am discovering that and I have been going WAY to slow. . . Thanks George I will count them tonight. I am thinking he has had more than 14 turns. . . . hahahaha!! This could be a quick game of Mage Knight! Thanks for the help! You know I have someone watching my video for mistakes and he said the exact same thing :)
1. Just a heads up: You could have used Burning shield without paying the black from the source and still be able to defeat the enemy (Fire attack 4 is enough because he only has physical resistance). But, I guess, you opted to use black in order to re-roll it.
2. As you're playing it on Daring, it doesn't matter if he gets another turn. :-) Go for the crystal.
I like it and yeah that was a bit silly of me but i wanted to use the bottom of the spell hahaha! I will go for the extra crystal!
Agree that's the beauty of the game multiple problem solutions, first time I play with my cousin he had bad luck cuz the tiles were difficult ones no towns near hehehe
That is hard! No place to heal etc. Yeah monasteries are no problem this time, but man just trying to stay ahead of Volkare! :) Thanks for watching!!

Thanks so much for these wonderful playthroughs! I have played Solo Conquest a fair bit, would you say Vokare’s return is a nice next solo scenario after that? Or is eg shadows of Tesla easier as a follow up?
I would say quest is easier than return! I'd recommend that next!!

I think you will need to have some crystal ready for when you have to battle Volkara, so I would risk give him one more turn to get the crystal. If you take rethink it give you a three card muligan and you should go first, so you dont risk facing Volkara.
Martin VERY good point! I am leaning towards risking another turn. The thing is I only have one mana stored and I will need to sue it for my Magic Familiars otherwise I lose my unit as well! So I am going to agree with you there! Thanks for watching!
Getting this out tomorrow as forgot how good this game is. Not played it in months. If i was you i would take the crystal and give Volkare another go. Always good to build up crystal storage. I would then take great start next round then you can draw 8 cards and maybe set aboot one o they mage towers. Loving it so far Colin. Stick the heid right on that manky Volkare. Haha. Thats Scottish for butt him right in the face. Lulz 😡🤕

One Stop Co-op Shop will do. Do you have the Shades of Tezla expansion? I've heard its not that great but its the only one i don't have so konda on the fence with it. Looking for some insight.
Terrible one to ask, given I didn't get it either for the same reason ha! I feel I have enough with the base and the two other expansions! That is just my opinion though!

They just announce they will be releasing an ULTIMATE edition at the end of September that will include all of the expansions, some nicer minis and a couple extra cards. Did you use the strong version of fire block just to get rid of the black die (top effect would have worked QS well)

Maybe not the right place to ask; I bought a bunch of the old Mage Knight minis back when it was first released. Is there any current use for them since MK seems to have transitioned and focused on Board Game development?

At 5.22 dont you nees to explore tiles adjacent to two other tiles?
I think you are talking about the core city tiles. The non-core city tiles that is not the case.
Great videos!! But I think you are putting the maps titles the wrong way. Besides the symbol, you should match the symbol with the number with the symbol with number in the other tile. Or symbols without number. Not a symbol with number with another without number.
