    I find this hurts my neck a lot??? Any advice on how to stop it pls?

      Not sure if you’ll see this because its such a late reply, but when I first started Pilates and exercises like this my neck used to hurt too. I later realized it’s because my abs weren’t strong enough and I wasn’t used to engaging my abs muscles in this type of movement therefore my neck muscles took over. My advice would be to build up more strength in your ab muscles and getting your body used to using your ab muscles in this particular movement. There are exercises called the pelvic tilt and the dead bug that you can do to really make sure you are focusing on your core muscles. These exercises have your head on the floor so you don’t have to worry about your neck muscles. After building more strength and muscle memory with these then you can start to do these exercises with your head lifted
