Widely acclaimed as a city of rare beauty, Bergamo is famous for its wealth of artistic treasures and enchanting medieval atmosphere. It is a real life tale of two cities: Città Bassa, the busy and modern lower city, and Città Alta, the upper city with its rich heritage of art and history.
Nice video! I moved from Bergamo 30 years ago (to Sweden) but I am still trying to visit the town at least once a year. If you go there again I can recommend to also take the second funicular FROM Città Alta to San Vigilio. That part of town has a more rural feel to it, and kind of reminds one of Tuscany 🙂
I really enjoyed your videos. You are a good guide/host. My wife and I love Italy and go there once a year. We have flown into Milan in the past and will be flying there again this fall, on our way to Firenze. We have two days until our Firenze apartment will be ready for us so we plan to visit Bergamo during that time. Your video has stoked our curiosity. Thank you
I think the 1st thing I would do upon arriving in Italy is go straight to a coffee shop. That lil treat you go bought and ate before you got home, looked divine!!♥
I can't believe it!! You were in my city!! .....I came to Mexico also thanks to your video🌻💛 And itìs so cool to see a video on your channel about my city! 😊...Hope you enjoyed your time there!
Hello, beautiful videos Thinking of going to Bergamot next week. Would appreciate a recommendation for. Cozy place to stay in the center of town Thanks so much Bergamo. The guest house you stayed in looks really wonderful Thanks Best regards from Kjersti
I am Italian and Bergamo is my city. You forgot to go to the top of Città Alta (San Virgilio castel). These is a second funicular, with an amazing view.
@@laura-bronner Opps... sorry.. I saw your video now! Thank you very much. Nobody know my city and it is a shame since is very, very beautiful. Even better than Milan IMO, where I lived 5 years!
I am in Milan now visiting family and friends then saw something on the news about Bergamo. My question is "What time of year is this video?" I am planning for a weekend getaway possibly 2nd week in January. Cheers!
Hi Laura. Thanks for that video. Kindly give me the steps to get to Bergamo via train if my plane lands at the Milan (MXP) airport. Also, after I get off the train how do I get to upper or lower Bergamo. U may have done so but I couldn't follow. Thanks. Slim
Fabulous video my dear. I am a warm weather guy it can't be too hot for me. The weather looks cool temperature wise but pretty still non the less, warm being why I really loved your Baja California and Mexico videos. Hey have you ever flown Iberia Airlines of Spain? If so I would really love to hear your comments. Love you my dear and your videos so incredibly much. Talk with you soon,
how was the language barrier? im not sure if you speak italian but im anxiously trying to learn some italian before i go, i heard very few people speak english
Great video and very helpful. I am from the U.S. and am planning a trip to Rome in September but have some concerns considering the current issue involving the crisis. Am I being overly cautious?
I was traveling there solo and felt pretty good about it! I stuck to busier streets at night just out of habit but otherwise really thought it felt like quite a safe place!
Thinks very much Laura Bronner , for posting this video , I'd like to suggest you something .travelling ,visiting ,many beautiful places is good for you ,but please invite me to explore with you different countries ..you aren't fell alone , you didn't miss something ..like me to be with you .

I went back to the city a second time (there’s another more recent Bergamo video on my channel) and I went up to San Virgilio. It’s very beautiful!

I don’t speak Italian, I know a few phrases for ordering, but in Bergamo I found most people spoke a bit of English, especially at hotels 👍
Did you fly out of the airport in Milan?
Great video and very helpful. I am from the U.S. and am planning a trip to Rome in September but have some concerns considering the current issue involving the crisis. Am I being overly cautious?
Haven't you seen the adorable tiny Teatro Sociale?
Is it a safe place to visit as a solo traveler?
I was traveling there solo and felt pretty good about it! I stuck to busier streets at night just out of habit but otherwise really thought it felt like quite a safe place!
❤️👍🙂…
I wish you wouldn't cut the food scene so short, I feel like your trying to rush the video
1. Live: the same thing you should do at your home

This is so weird, that you're living, if nothing happened in past 10 days. No judgment, just your videos becoming unreal.
