Thanks! It is very basic cause it was for beginners with no stage experience, so I tried to make something interesting even if with no tricks. I focused on group coordination and straight lines, I think that once you have control and clean lines, then you can play, impro and get them dirty again, but probably this method comes from my ballet background, maybe too rigid ? p.s. caroleena I have been following you for years! thank you for your amazing tutorials!

Love this performance as a whole. :) The mood, the costume and the moves look great. I honestly find it difficult to do a group number because it does become difficult to synchronize at some times and I think you did well in that aspect.
I love the opening part with the spirals as well as formations you did in this performance. You actually inspire me to want to do a group choreo one of these days.
Thanks! Yes group choreopraphy it is a real challenge: you have to cope with different bodies, characters, attitudes ( for example I had 1 left handed). It takes many reharsals, but it is fun! I also found it difficult to teach a coregraphy to adults, they were slow at memorizing (slower than kids), but the following year I added more tricks and they got it really quickly. In another choeography I left a bit of free style, (I am still trying to get a right balance between the two), I think that you need a reasonable level of technique and self confindence in order to be able to improvise, but it is true that it becomes more spontaneous and pleasant to see.

the lighting made it hard to see the hoops. The fog too. You want the hoops to stand out. I would have liked to see some more advanced moves as well. Lots you can do with those hoops. Use them too your full advantage.
I'd like to see you do any of that before you critique their work! Good job ladies, hoopography aint easy!! Love the theme
