One aspect of this video shows that LeBron is more focused on complaining and manipulating the game than he is actually competing and playing the pure game of basketball.
The other aspect shows that despite his complaints, the refs were blowing the whistle for him and the Lakers.
The Nets shot 14 times free throws to the Lakers 24!
Lakers have more depth, more talent, the better center, and even more free throw attempts. How did they lose!?
My answer, via this video breakdown, is that LeBron James grinds the Lakers offense to a halt, brings little to the table on defense, and spreads bad energy all over the court.

Playing the race card was a huge factor in how he got where he is. These white sports pundits are masochists who want to be bent over and spanked in public while they apologize for being white, and James has the kind of ego-driven personality to play right into that. It’s crazy how you casuals perceive things the total opposite of reality. There has literally never been a player to have the amount of scrutiny that Lebron has. He was beyond hyped up coming out of high school and the critics were on his ass from the very beginning. He was dubbed the chosen one at 16 years old and on the cover of sports illustrated and since he’s lived up to that standard for 20+ seasons he gets shred to pieces by you morons. Imagine if Durant had half the amount of scrutiny that Lebron had he would’ve ended up in a psych ward or offed himself completely. The fact that he’s getting this much heat in his 21st season avging 25 7 and 7 is beyond insane.

In defense of Darvin Ham, he probably isn't allowed to coach Lebron. Ham probably knows that if he says anything about Lebron's terrible shot selection or lack of hustle, Ham will find himself on his couch for the rest of his career. Honestly, I think 21 years of being coddled, excuses made, almost free reign to commit unwhistled fouls, and defenders punished with phantom foul calls for daring to try to stop him- that’s probably ruined him as a basketball player. Had he been truly put to the test by real competition and honest refereeing, he probably would be twice the player.
Players and coaches complain and argue with the refs all game long and all season long. It just never stops. I watched OKC/Minnesota last night and it was just an entire game of complaining by both sides. It really gets old.
