I got the opportunity to play the inaugural performance of our high school’s steel drum band, and I’ll always remember how loud the audience was at the end of our performance. We were not nearly as polished as this group is, but for only four months of learning & practice, we did pretty well. Thank you for uploading this. Gonna share this with my high school band director, as he was the one that got the county to purchase the steel drums, and it was a huge ask, financially. The music program is still alive & well, after 30yrs.
So good to hear it’s still going strong!! 🤗
The amount of respect i have for school bands, also love how chill the drummer is (and all bands in general lol)
Moments that were godlike!!!!

You guys did incredible!!!
I don't know how much air it takes to play a saxophone, but the baritone sax player must have a LOT of it! Moving around like that and *still* playing is impressive. Saw in another comment that most of you are freshmen, so I hope you all enjoy your sophomore year (and that the drummer enjoys freshman year)! 👏👏👏
These kids are super amazing! They already have their own twist and spin on the music!! 🔥💯🎉
Such talent!! I love the stage presence and how entertaining they are! Wondering if they are available to play this summer at a backyard graduation party?
Sounds like fun! :D
