Damn, I thought you were just here to teach me how to restore furniture... had no idea you had such a refined sense in the arts... I’m impressed & thanks!
Steve, I think you'd like Killing of a sacred deer, if you haven't already seen it. Get Out and Raw are two other's that are in the same genre. Happy watching! :D
Hey Steve, thanks so much for doing this list. I watch most everything that's released. You have been (thankfully) responsible for widening my rather narrow horror; action adventure; and fantasy movies. I hope you are doing well and thanks for everything. Be well my friend!
Happy New Year Steve. Thanks for introducing me to woodworking this year. By the way, I hope your getting screeners for these films because otherwise you must be spending all the profits from WWMM on movies, popcorn and gas to get there. That’s a lot of movies.
Happy New Year! I really enjoyed Logan, I thought it was exceptionally well written. It's probably got to many references to previous movies to really get it by itself, though. Jumanji was a lot of fun, but you can't have high expectations for it. :) Logan Lucky was laugh out loud hilarious for me. Blade Runner 2049 was great, it added a lot to the story of that world. Kong Skull Island was great, too; took me back to being a kid at the theater on Saturday morning watching monster movies. :)
I really liked "Three Bilboards". I would watch anything Francis McDormand is in. Bad decisions based on inaccurate information......sort of like life.
we didn't see any new movies in 2017. We were denied the second mortgage on the house to finance it. LOL Seriously though, last movie we saw in the theater was Avatar. My wife and grandson wanted to go see it in 3D. Between the tickets, the popcorn, soda and candy, I got out of the car with 5 $20 bills and had to go to the ATM at the theater. And was just for 3 people.
MOVIEPASS ? A movie per day but no 3D or IMAX = save u a bunch. It works but u half to go to box office to use. Can't reserve from home. Cost about $10 month. Just a suggestion
Wow, you've watched a ton of movies this year. You should make an account on letterboxd.com to keep track of and log them all. More importantly though, it lets us follow your activity and see your ratings and reviews. That would be really interesting.
I really enjoy these movie review vids. After watching this, we were even inspired to go see a film! But alas, _The Death Cure_ was terrible. Should've used the cash to buy _Arrival_ on DVD, instead. I'm a little behind the curve. Anywho, thanks, Steve ;)
Thanks for sharing your top pics Steve. We have similar taste in movies and I love hearing about films that interest me that I probably wouldn't have heard of.

Dude so funny you live in Novato too.
Do you like the Rowland loungers

Thanks for the video Steve. You have been a huge inspiration to us and part of the reason we started our channel. Love what you do!
I actually really look forward to these. You always mention films that I didn't even hear about and would have missed out on otherwise.
Ur taste is kinda bad
Best films i saw this year were the Weekend Woodworker videos. Thanks again Steve. happy New Year!!
Wow, you and I have such different tastes in film... ;-)
But still enjoy hearing your perspectives!
I'll have to check some of these out.
Happy new year 🎈🎆🎊! I missed content on this channel. Cheers

While watching this video I was wondering: Where is Mother! ? and finally it was at #1! I second every bit of Steve's commentary.
47 metres down? Really?
Happy new year!!! :)
Happy new year, hope to see more than one video a year on this channel
Jumanji is great
My favourite...fast and furious 8

I really enjoy these movie review vids. After watching this, we were even inspired to go see a film! But alas, _The Death Cure_ was terrible. Should've used the cash to buy _Arrival_ on DVD, instead. I'm a little behind the curve. Anywho, thanks, Steve ;)
Time to change the name of the channel to Reviews for Mere Mortals. You are great at explaining the movies.
now that was unexpected

A ghost story is my favorite movie for 2017. But I don't really care about years. Yesterday I watched Ex-drummer and was blown away.
I would have to say John wick 2 was awesome. and wonder woman had to be a top 10. But I dont watch all kinds of movies
How'd you like Get Out?
Wow a 186 movies I think I watch 2. Maybe I still believe too much tv will give you square eyes haha 😂

Star Wars was pretty good
Who are you and how did I get on your subscription list?
Thanks Steve happy new year.
I can't believe you watched that many movies. That's almost one every other day!!
