This is a great little vehicle. Awesome for snow and gravel roads. It is not an offroad 4x4 although it does pretty well offroad. In town, in snow, it is a nice driving and quiet runabout with really good power distribution. .
HAHAHAHA....a mieasly 1,5 Turbo Inline 4 with 150 HP for a 4,466 meters long 1650 kg MID sized SUV is a joke. It guzzless gasoline like crazy with around 15+ litres / 100 km and it goes nowhere. What a joke....a minimum of 2.0 TurboDiesel Inline4 with 150 HP should be in such a car.
@@vwguru VW Golf is 4,25cm long....this VW Taos is 4,466 m long. Any SUV above 4,40 m is considered a MID sized SUV. And no buttercup, the 1,5 Inline 4 doesn't do nearly to the 36 MPG....but in real world 23-25 MPG. You're and illiterate boy that only knows how to read manufacturers specs. And historically it has been known that absolutely every car manufacturer lies in fuel consumption figures.

Totally agree!
not gonna lie, i like the 22/23 rims more, i think they fit the fun vibe of the taos better
I have the SE 4 motion with every option besides the leather. It wasn’t worth paying almost $40k for the SEL
I agree. The top end Taos is a little pricey.
Where are you seeing $40K for an SEL?
I'm leasing one and the bottom line is $32.5K.
Thorough and fast review. Good job. When the car is put in Reverse do either of the side mirrors tilt down?
Typically, the SEL trims do have a power tilt for the right side mirror when you put it in reverse.
Nice car!
It sure is!
Can you tell me the differences between an SE and an SEL?
very informative review
Glad it was helpful!

The Taos is NOT a Mid Sized SUV. It is more like a Golf in size, and it gets 36 MPG which is not even close to being a gas guzzler.

@@vwguru He was dropped on his head.
When you finally get your head out of your ass and move out of your parent's basement, please remember that you have no life....and never will.
I love the Taos, thanks Reese!
