I can't believe this isn't more popular this is an amazing achievement! I've only fought Yozora once and that did not go well. It's so cool to see the way you combo and adjust to the back so you always have a good idea of where he is, the reliance on just sound cues must take so much effort to get down and the precision of blocking every attack right on cue is insane, I can't imagine how much effort it took to pull this off! Amazing work

The great thing about this fight is if you've beat it at high difficulties, you can actually totally see how something like this would be possible. It's a very methodical and progressive fight with clear clues and patterns
It's not ridiculous to think it is at all.
In real life, doing something blindfolded isn't such a hard thing to imagine because you actually have all your other senses to guide you as you go.
Doing a video game blindfolded is much less believable simply because the only sense you have is hearing. Outside of that, you can't see, which is a big part of gaming, so you wouldn't actually know when to attack, you can guess when you dodge.
I can accept beating them blindfolded, but not without taking damage.

@@thevoicelessone5447 everyone one of Yozora's attacks has a different sound, so sound design as a lot to do with beating him
The mere fact that people can do this level of crazy plays by memorizing patterns and even the timing of the boss' voice clips is badass as fuck. Congrats!

Congratulations! And for those who doesn't believe this is real. Well everyone is entitled to their opinion it's true some blindfolds can be trick see through and poor. But that's not the case here, Violin clearly used sound, and studying the enemies voice quotes which is why he didn't need the use of his eyes. The Brain can be a powerful thing through training. With sense of hearing you don't need sights material arts masters train in this art.
This is one of the most impressive feats I've ever seen. I admire your dedication.

…it took me a whole week to beat this fight at all on Proud. Probably the hardest boss I’ve ever fought in a video game.

it's not that hard to blindfold a battle when you put in the hours to studying his voice cues, attack patterns, where he's gonna end up being positioned due to an attack, and so forth. It's about committing everything to memory, once you know the battle like the back of your hand, it suddenly becomes very possible. You just really need to be reactive, waiting and listening, and being on POINT with your reactions. That all being said, VERY nice work ^_^!

At the gigas part, can't you just jump, double flight and glide holding left on the stick just like you did for his steal attack? It's my consistent way of dodging that, not sure if it's possible blindfolded

Bro didn't have to do this much to prove he's good at Kingdom Hearts. Beating Yozora on critical is hard enough (especially on level 1), but getting rid of your vision is way too much. This man is crazy incarnate!

i dropped out of KH's story super quickly (missed CoM so lots of 2 was lost on me) and played a bit of 3 on Games Pass and for whatever reason it didn't click but holy shit this challenge is bonkers. One day i'd like to give them another go but...
I actually find KH2 understandable without Com if you pay attention to opening cinematic. Though if you planned to plays games here my required to understand the "Basic" story line for the first saga list. Some people say you have to play all the games, but that not true. It only if want to understand the side characters or see what they setting up for the next saga. The 5 games: KH1, KH2, KH Birth By Sleep, KH Dream Drop Distance , and KH3.

Is there actually a blindfold safe strat for the gigas bit? I thought that the best we had even with sight was just "roll and pray?"
My strat is to start mashing dodge rolls twice in each direction going in a square, the timing is pretty tight to not get hit and I also start rolling at a very specific time to make it all line up

can someone explain to me why his hp keeps draining and why the mp is draining, and why when its like at 1 and he casts thunder and it doesnt go into mana charge mode or whatever until he entered the dm and cast thunder again, i dont know these mechanics and before i say something stupid like this is bullshit i would like to know what's going on here

@@night104 you know just saying procodes doesn't give me any extra information, like is it just supposed to make it harder since hp and mp is constantly draining, does it increase damage you do, does it reduce damage how did thunder not consume the last of it does it explain it, I haven't played the game just watched others and honestly this is my first time seeing pro codes so you could do more than say two words pls
@@quinzou29f95 as for why his MP didn't recharge, i think that's an ability called MP safety which disable recharging when MP runs out. Only cure and link trigger a recharge
