I just binged it. It's not one of the best shows ever made imo, but it's very solid. I'm not sure why every other streaming service doesn't make shows as good as HBO.

This show is amazing. There aren't many channels reacting to it so i'm very happy you decided to. I don't if views to these reactions will be good enough but if they are not at least finish the show on your own time. It's worth it. I'm also hoping 🤞🏼 for a Ted Lasso reaction. If you need convincing ask Syntell he will tell you how good that show is.
Succession is easily one of my favorite shows of all time. Stick with it, it's going to get so much better.

I’d say first 5 episodes are slow, but if you really like well written shows then you’d have to stick with it and I can assure you it’ll be one of your favorite shows ever

This was me too. First 5 a bit slower but I liked the acting and writing, but after that it really goes up a gear and just keeps going up and up!

Why is it such a necessity for you to root for a character at all? The moment you root for a character, you will start judging that particular character as per your own standards of ethics and morality and you will completely rob yourself of the joy of watching ambiguity and morally complex characters. Be a fly on the wall and let the show do it's thing. Trust me, it's the best way to watch a phenomenon like Succession that is significantly better than Beef.

Reading up on Murdoch’s over the years- pillaging The World Media basically, monopolising it here in Australia, the Leveson Inquiry in the UK, and of course what have done jn the US- watching Succession was such a surreal experience.

One of the best comments I heard about this show is that you don't necessarily get character progression. You actually just get more and more of these characters' personalities revealed to you. So it's funny when you are saying you pegged some of these people right away. Like fundamentally yes, but also, no.

Contender for the greatest TV show of all time. It really gets good after episode 6. Please please please give it time to really get good. Such a good payoff by the end.
Whoa. I hope you like it. Not one character is miscast in this show. There are also no bad episodes. Very rare. But it’s a dark show.

you guys are in for a ride, one of the best shows or piece of entertainment. In the past two decades period.
This is absolutely one of my favorite shows of recent years but while I came to it when there were 3 seasons out, only once did I watch 2 episodes in a sitting. The ickiness, the pacing of the dialogue, the liveliness and emotional weight of the interactions, etc. really make every episode feel like a movie to me, I never have an urge to watch another episode the same day. It's just so much. So yeah I totally get how y'all feel, but yes it's absolutely worth the watch.
You say Shiv's personality doesn't show in Ep 1, and it's kinda true, bur just wait... her personality is so interesting.

Having just watched your reaction, I think you’re going to enjoy this show. The filming style is one it took me a bit to adjust to and that everyone seemed awful, but as you said the people so fascinating that that’s what sucks you in. Love you noticed it’s shot on film. Stick with it. As I say, I was a bit unsure until ep 5 and then I was fully in and in my opinion there isn’t a weak ep after that.
This series is so amazing, it's gonna be wonderful to relive/rewatch!
