Beneficial video. I've been stuck after a really great freshman year. It feels good to go back to the basics. Finding my identity as I process my identity and value to the world. I've felt a little lost, this is a very good grounding and inspiring video. It has helped me feel ok to take a minute to be disoriented and find my purpose in my goal of creating a body of work. Being stuck and depressed is OK. Being stuck and depressed, if I can get through it, will propel me forward. I have needed friendship through a very tough time in my life and my friends and coaches in the ANL have helped pull me up from the full stop I've felt as an artist.

It's so interesting as I've recently started painting very ethereal figures that are connecting me to my true spiritual self, and I really identified with what you were saying about your art. This was so so so helpful. I loved the actionable advice. Working on it right now, and find the "connection" bit much easier than the other two which maybe speaks to having more to say and communicate than I even thought or realized I did.
So exciting to hear, Yea just put your own words to that and go for it. There are many others who have similar intentions to us. Nothing wrong with that. :)
